Continuity mistake: When Gord leaves his parents' house to sell his cartoon, he gets in his car and starts backing up, then all of a sudden the car is turned the other way.
Continuity mistake: When Betty and Tom Green are in the restaurant, Tom's glass keeps filling up to the top and filling up to the middle in different shots.
Revealing mistake: At the beginning of the movie when Gordy is doing the voices of the drawings, he creases one of the pictures and it lifts up. You can see that the picture is a photocopy of the original, although apparently these drawings are original. This happens several other times in the movie.
Continuity mistake: During family counseling, Gord throws the bust through the window which breaks the glass and the wooden support frame of the panes, and there's nothing sticking out. When he climbs up to jump out, one of the wooden pieces is now sticking out. It's gone again in the next shot.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Gord first meets Betty at the hospital, it shows Betty flipping the creamer. She flips it once more as Gord walks towards her. The creamer lands right way up, the scene cuts and Gord says, "Hi, iI' looking for my friend Darren." The creamer is now upside down.
Continuity mistake: Outside the restaurant with David Davidson, Gord has the gun out of his mouth and puts it back in a little, the camera cuts to looking at him straight on and the gun is suddenly further in.
Continuity mistake: When Betty is testing her rocket wheelchair she is parked in front of some white lines, when Gordy pulls up, the lines aren't there.
Continuity mistake: When Gord receives his car in the beginning of the movie the sky looks really dark, and the ground is wet as if it were raining, and in a couple of shots of Freddy it looks as if it is raining in the background, yet in the previous and following scenes it is bright and sunny.
Continuity mistake: Gord builds his halfpipe and it shows it completed, then later in the movie, it shows the outside of the house with the speed increased and it shows a partially complete halfpipe.
Continuity mistake: When Gord's father is outside hooking his truck's winch up to his skateboarding ramp he pulls out of the driveway but at the angle he starts driving it would be impossible for it to be hooked up properly.
Continuity mistake: In the scene in the offices of RadioHead animations, Gord is holding a large envelope package. He is also given a note which gives the name of a restaurant that Dave Davidson is eating at. Watch the note and the envelope switch hands MANY times in the scenes.
