Ringu 0: Bâsudei

Trivia: This film is based on a short story called "Lemonheart." The title (which translates to "Ring 0: Birthday") is taken from the book that the story is taken from, "Birthday", which is the fourth book in the "Ring" novel series.

Trivia: At one point in the film, a character is walking through the dressing room backstage of the theater, and you can see a "phantom hand" sticking out of the wardrobe hanging on the rack. To this day, this mysterious hand has no explanation, as there was no reason for it to be in the scene. Some like to think, given the nature of the film, the hand is of supernatural origins.

Trivia: Yukie Nakama, who played Sadako in the film, used to be teased by her friends about her resemblance to the character after the 1998 film "Ringu" was released. But this worked to her advantage, as a little over a year later, she was offered the role of Sadako in this prequel film.
