Factual error: In the opening day clips, they show 49, Tim Wakefield, starting. The starting pitcher that day was 38 Curt Schilling (Wakefield never played that day). Furthermore, the clips show them playing against the Texas Rangers; opening day 2004 was against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Suggested correction: Not Curt Schilling, Bronson Arroyo started the home opener against Toronto in 2004.

Visible crew/equipment: When Jimmy Fallon and Drew Barrymore are taking their seats after the guy yells peanuts and crackerjacks, if you look carefully you can see some of the seats behind are actually filled with mannequins dressed with clothing. Some of them don't even have arms. (00:38:00 - 00:41:00)

Lindsey Meeks: You don't see us tangled up in the sheets with the Eiffel Tower in the background. You see the Mariners are coming in, and Pedro's pitching Friday.
Ben: No, on Saturday. Schilling's Friday.

Trivia: Towards the end, Lindsey and Ben are shown kissing on the field right after the Red Sox win the World Series. That shot was actually filmed moments after the Sox won the World Series on the field on October 27, 2004.

Question: Why is the right field foul pole named after Johnny Pesky?

Answer: Popular Boston Red Sox lore credits the nickname to pitcher Mel Parnell who later became a sportscaster. Pesky had only 6 homers in Fenway Park and all were hit near the right field foul line pole, but never off the pole. The pole is only 302 feet from home plate. The left field foul line pole is named after player Carlton Fisk.
