Continuity mistake: When Mr. McGuire is shot, he falls down, and Shannon's spoons spill out all over the ground. In an overhead shot, all the spoons are snatched up by bystanders, but then it cuts to a ground-level shot, and they're back on the ground, getting snatched up again.
Shannon Christie: No! Joseph, please come back. Joseph, no! Don't leave me alone. Please. I loved you. I loved you from the first time I saw you.
Joseph Donnelly: I've often wondered about that.
Trivia: The purple dress that Shannon admires as she leaves the factory is the same one worn by Clara Clayton at the very end of Back to the Future Part III.
