Corrected entry: At the party after the show with "Jazz Hot", some of the people are congregated at what is obviously a white tie affair. All men present are in white ties. Except Squash, King's body guard. He is wearing a black tie.
Victor/Victoria (1982)
1 corrected entry
Directed by: Blake Edwards
Starring: James Garner, Julie Andrews, Lesley Ann Warren, Robert Preston
Revealing mistake: Victor(ia) is supposed to be a male performer. Yet in the musical number closeups, the outline of her female cleavage is too obvious, in spite that she would be wearing bosom padding for her costume, and Patrons seated in the front row and the balcony would notice the difference.
Victoria: Well it's probably for the best.
King Marchand: That's as bad as "love is a two-way street."
Victoria: What it lacks in originality it makes up for in prophecy.
Question: Why did Julie Andrews refuse her Tony nomination for this film?
Answer: She accepted the Oscar nomination for the film. She turned down the Tony nomination for the Broadway musical because no one else got nominated and she thought it was unfair.

Correction: He is there as an employee (of King's). Not a guest, so he is not subject to their dress code. Note the barmen and waiters are also not wearing white ties.
