Continuity mistake: During the scene with the guys dancing in the locker room, when the coach comes in, you see the same shot of Stefen taking off his jacket twice.
Steff: You're not God, Nickerson. You're just a typing teacher.
Trivia: Remember the bit in Scream where Tatum says of this film "if you freeze it just right you can see his penis"? Well, she's right - you can! (It's in the love scene right after the girl plays sax in the street.) Keep in mind that it's a body double, not Tom Cruise, though.

Correction: Regarding taking a knee, you're partly correct. Considering the ball was on the 1 yard line, taking a knee would mean taking a knee in the endzone - a safety. So, the coach really should have just taken a safety.
