Easter egg: On the normal version of the DVD, in the subtitles section, there is something called "The Zomb-O-Meter Track." Select this, and have a whole heap of extra trivia appear as subtitles, such as music credits, storyline pieces and other good stuff.
Shaun of the Dead (2004)
1 easter egg
Directed by: Edgar Wright
Starring: Bill Nighy, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Kate Ashfield, Lucy Davis

Continuity mistake: When Shaun goes to the newsagents after the dead rise, he gets a drink out of the fridge, which has blood-stained hand prints on. He slips on what we assume is blood as he walks away, yet on the way in and as he leaves the shop you can see behind him that there is no blood or any other liquid on the floor. (00:25:35)
Suggested correction: Have just watched this on the big screen, and there is definitely blood on the floor. It's on the red tile, so it is hard to see; also hard to see on the DVD version.
Shaun: Mum, what if I told you that on several occasions, he touched me. [pause.] That was made up, not true, shouldn't have said that.
Trivia: When at work, talking to the youngsters, Shaun mentions that "Ash" is also sick and can't come to work - a nod to the classic The Evil Dead (1981) trilogy where Bruce Campbell plays Ash, also a sales clerk.
Question: When Dianne leaves the Winchester to try to help David, what's the background music that plays in the following battle? Does that song have a name so I could look it up, or is there an original soundtrack where I can find it?
Answer: "Burn Down the Sun" by Daniel Mudford & Pete Woodhead, according to this site: http://musicfromfilm.com/movies/shaunofthedead.php. According to http://www.discogs.com/Various-Shaun-Of-The-Dead-Music-From-The-Motion-Picture/release/402748, it's not on the soundtrack (as it's just background music).
