Continuity mistake: When Brenda picks the popcorn off the desk, on the desk are a few other small items. But later, when Tabitha and Brenda fight, the only item on the table is a bottle which wasn't there earlier anyway. (00:24:00 - 00:25:45)
Continuity mistake: When Brenda is switching off the TV you can see her pressing her finger on the far right side where the buttons are. However, there is no button where she put here finger. In fact the power switch is on the middle of the TV. (00:24:10)
Continuity mistake: When Brenda unplugs the TV because it keeps turning itself on, under the TV in a little compartment you can see three stacks of videos and they are piled up untidily. But when the TV starts to leak, the videos are piled up neatly and also the video cases have changed and the video piles have moved further apart. (00:24:15)
Continuity mistake: When Brenda is watching the TV and says "the whole world gotta stop..." she turns around and walk toward the couch. Then it cuts to the TV, then back to Brenda still walking towards the couch. By this time she wouldn't be walking towards it but she would stand right next to it. (00:24:35)
Continuity mistake: When Brenda is eating a mouthful of popcorn you see one of her skirt's laces are crossing her knee. In the next shot both laces are hanging straight down. (00:25:00)

Revealing mistake: A quick mistake happens when Brenda and the girl crawling out of the TV get in a fight. Brenda throws the punch, the other girl falls over, and for a quick second her dress flies up too far and you can see where the makeup (that makes her look dead) on her legs end and you can see her real thigh. Other mistake: In the scene where Tabitha comes out the TV, Brenda sits on the couch and eats some popcorn. Then she gets up and fights Tabitha, and for some reason, in one shot you can see a frying pan on the couch, where Brenda was sitting. (00:25:20)
Continuity mistake: When Brenda holds Tabitha back by the head when they fight, Brenda says "That's all" to her, and between shots, Brenda's arm moves from being beside her, with her fist clenched, to behind her, with her hand rested on her back, to beside of her with her fist clenched again. Continuity mistake: Right after Brenda rams her head into Tabitha she puts her arms down and stands still. When it cuts she is bouncing against Tabitha waving her fists. (00:25:35)
Continuity mistake: When Brenda gets kicked by Tabitha, she flies over the couch, and as she does, the cushions on the couch get moved about. But when Cindy goes over to the couch and screams, you can see the cushions are back to being positioned perfect. (00:25:45)
Continuity mistake: When Brenda is fighting the girl that comes out of the TV, her hair changes between shots. (00:26:15)
Continuity mistake: When Tom is inside the house while George and Sue are screaming, you see Tom wearing an unbuttoned shirt and a grey t-shirt under his jacket. When Tom gets outside he is suddenly wearing a shirt with no buttons and a white t-shirt. (00:26:50)
Audio problem: When Cody explains to Sue that "everyone you love is dying" she screams, then he starts screaming. It has a fast cut from his back while he still is screaming. But you can see on his face that he actually isn't screaming. (00:27:00)
Continuity mistake: When Tom arrives at the scene where his wife is injured you can see out his back window of the car that there is nothing there. But when he gets out there are two police cars standing right behind him with red lights on. (00:27:50)
Continuity mistake: When Tom is talking to the Sheriff about his wife, he holds a donut. The way he holds it changes between shots. (00:29:00)
Continuity mistake: When Tom gets to his wife you see her smashed on the hood of the car but still not very close to the shield. When it cuts she literally lies onto the shield. (00:29:25)
Continuity mistake: During the flashback of the farmer's wife dying, the police officer breaks random things in half to symbolize his wife. When she breaks the taco in half, it breaks all the way, yet, when the shot is seen from behind her, part of the taco is still whole. (00:29:40)
Continuity mistake: When Annie put her arm around Tom, you see her putting her arm on his shoulder. In the next shot her arm isn't on his shoulder, but on his waist. (00:29:45)
Answer: It was an alien in a Michael Jackson skin. He shed it and ran off into the bushes.
