Trivia: In the scene where we first see Patrick Swayze dancing, the older lady dancing with him is both the choreographer and the woman whose life the movie plot is based on.

Suggested correction: It's based on Eleanor Bergstein's life. Not Miranda Garrison's. (Who originally stepped in to the role vacated by Kelly Bishop at the last minute).

Factual error: Notice Baby's white Keds shoes with the blue emblem on the back of them. That style of Keds didn't come out until the 80s.

Suggested correction: Keds were released in 1916 and were worn by Marilyn Monroe in the 1952 film "Clash by Night." They did gain major popularity in 1969 after Yoko Ono wore them for her wedding to John Lennon.

Continuity mistake: In the last dance scene of the movie, Patrick Swayze jumps down from the stage and the hair on his forehead which was completely dry is suddenly very wet and plastered to his head. (01:32:30)

Baby: Me? I'm scared of everything. I'm scared of what I saw, I'm scared of what I did, of who I am, and most of all I'm scared of walking out of this room and never feeling the rest of my whole life the way I feel when I'm with you.

Question: When Baby helps Penny out by dancing with Johnny at the Sheldrake hotel, it is stated that it is Thursday night (when Penny has the abortion). At breakfast the next day Baby's dad says they are leaving tomorrow, even though they are paid up til Sunday. Thursday night is the first night that Baby and Johnny sleep together, yet they seem to be seeing each other for ages before Johnny even gets sacked, let alone the time that's past when he comes back. I don't see how all of this be squeezed into 2 days?

Answer: The father says they're leaving the next day, but when the mother asks why, he realizes he'd need to explain what happened, so he decides not to leave, and they stay for the rest of the trip as originally planned.
