Friday the 13th Part 2

Continuity mistake: When Scott is dancing with Muffin the dog, Muffins little bow is dark blue. But through the window shot, her bow is bright purple. (00:26:50)

Hamster

Deliberate mistake: At the beginning, Alice turns on the tea kettle and it starts whistling less than a half a minute after it's turned on. It'd take alot longer. (00:10:00)

Continuity mistake: When Jason surprises Vicky in the bedroom death scene. Jason pops out of the bed and his bag that he wears on his head is tied up. Then when they cut to Jason lowering his butcher knife, his head bag that he wears is un-tied. (01:02:20)

Revealing mistake: When Jason slices Ginny's leg, not only can you see that a piece of her jeans has been pre-cut and simply just falls off revealing her flesh wound, but you can also see the outline of the tube pumping blood under her jeans. (01:02:20)

Mortug

Continuity mistake: When Ginny promise to Paul that she never will be late again, Paul puts his arm around Ginny over her shoulder. When it cuts his arm is lowered. (00:21:30)

Mortug

Plot hole: When Jason is in Ginny's cabin, she's under the bed seeing where he's at. So how did Jason manage to get up on a chair and wait for her to come out without her seeing him do this? She had to see him do that, but when she pokes her head out, she's surprised to see him there.

Suggested correction: She was a bit preoccupied with the rat that got up close and personal to her. She heard the creaking, but when she looked back, she didn't see him, assuming that the sound was made by him exiting through the cabin's door. The creaking was actually him getting up on that chair, but she wasn't looking at the door because the rat was in her face.

Continuity mistake: When the two kids are heading for 'Camp Blood' they get to a fence with a sign reading "No trespassing". The boy puts his foot on the right side of the sign pushing the fence down. When it cuts his foot is on the left side of the sign. (00:35:35)

Mortug

Visible crew/equipment: When Jason is in Ginny's cabin, you can see the mike wire's shadow on the floor when he starts walking towards the cots. (01:10:30)

Continuity mistake: When Jason slits Scott's throat, he slits straight across, yet the wound is diagonal. (00:48:25)

Continuity mistake: After Scott hits Terri in the bum with the slingshot, he holds the slingshot up by his shoulder. In the next shot his arm is down by his side. (00:19:05)

Hamster

Continuity mistake: As Ginny hits Jason in the shoulder with the machete, in the first shot it catches part of his sack and is embedded diagonally. In the next shot, the blade is clear of the sack and the machete is now perfectly horizontal. (01:16:55)

Revealing mistake: When Alice moves toward her window with the ice pick and the cat jumps in, it's obvious a crew member threw it in. (00:10:40)

Friday the 13th Part 2 mistake picture

Revealing mistake: Just after the scene where Mark is killed, there's a shot of Jason's feet as he opens a screen door and walks across a dusty hardwood floor. As the dolly pulls backward across the floor, you can see the camera's roller marks in the dust. (00:59:10)

Continuity mistake: In the film Ted is at the bar with Paul and Ginny and Ted is flirting with the waitress behind the bar.The waitress has her wash rag slung over her right shoulder. The scene then cuts to a frontal shot of her and now the dish rag is now slung over her left shoulder. (00:52:10)

Plot hole: How does Jason know where Alice lives? Plus she lives in what looks like a boarding house, how come nobody heard her screams? No way everyone was a sound sleeper or everyone was out somewhere at the time.

Rob245

Plot hole: Jason drags Vicky's body down the stairs. A minute later, Ginny and Paul come in the house and see nothing. Jason even has time to hide Sandra and Jeff's bodies by the time Ginny and Paul go upstairs. Not possible in a two minute time frame.

Suggested correction: We're not given a specified length of time between Vicki's murder and the time Paul and Ginny returned. He could have had enough time to hide Jeff and Sandra, but then they arrived as he was dragging Vicki down the stairs (you could hear them outside as we see this). We didn't see every closet or room, so the bodies could have been hidden anywhere.

dewinela

Other mistake: When Jeff and Sandra sneak off to look at Camp Blood, they come across a dead animal. While they're bent down looking at it and have their backs to the camera, the cop for some reason sneaks up behind them and puts his hand on Jeff's back. The camera angle changes and you see the police car parked just off to the left with its red light flashing. There's no way that Jeff and Sandra would not have seen and heard the police car when they came up on the dead animal - it's almost right in front of them.

AidanN

Continuity mistake: When Sandra and Jeff sneak off to Camp Blood they walk right along the waterline with the lake on their left, yet after crossing the barbed-wire fence, the lake (in the background) is on their right; this was a mirrored image.

Aqweius

Continuity mistake: When Paul and Ginny leave the bar, there is a faulty, unlit small headlight on the front left of the car. When they get back to camp the light is fixed and working. (01:01:00)

Hamster

Plot hole: How did Jason, who lived in a shack, with no electricity, knowledge of worldly things or how to travel, let alone geography, know where to go and kill Alice?

Trivia: Part of the reason Alice (the survivor of the first film) is only on screen during the first scene and is killed off early is because the actress portraying her (Adrienne King) was dealing with a real-life stalker and was trying to limit her acting appearances.

Question: What was that first body in the woods that looked like Muffin? It couldn't have been Muffin because she shows up at the end right?

Answer: It never really says what the body is, but I'd assume it were a rabbit or some other small woodland creature. It can't be Muffin because, like you said, Muffin appears later on.
