Continuity mistake: In the restaurant, Deeds pushes the opera singer into a table. Between shots the mess around the table changes. In a closeup, there's plates of food/cake surrounding the table that weren't there in the previous wideshot, and the cloth and broken table changes too. (00:33:35)

Hamster

Revealing mistake: In the restaurant, Deeds pushes the opera singer into a table - you can tell the opera man falling, is in fact a stunt double. (00:33:35)

Continuity mistake: When Deeds is eating cereal, he offers Emilio some, who refuses, then Deeds puts the cereal box back down, and the box front is facing the screen, but in the following shot the box is turned sideways. (00:42:00)

Hamster

Continuity mistake: When Pam and Deeds are sitting at the water fountain, Pam's little camera appears and disappears a few times between shots. (00:46:10 - 00:48:25)

Hamster

Continuity mistake: When Deeds is climbing up the pole to get to the woman's window because her flat is on fire, he puts his left leg on the top of the traffic light twice. (00:48:45)

Hamster

Revealing mistake: Somebody has already pointed out that the footage of Deeds throwing the cats out of the window is obviously not caught on Pam's camera. In addition, notice that there is no guttering/pole to the left of Mrs. Keeling's flat window - it is on the right. Yet on the TV footage, there is a metal pole to the left of her window. Another point is that Mrs. Keeling's flat is on the corner of a street, yet when we see footage of the cats flying out of the window, her flat isn't at the corner of a street, it's in the centre of a row of flats. (00:48:55 - 00:51:45)

Hamster

Continuity mistake: The most flame retardant box of cereal ever! When Deeds saves the woman from the burning building, there is a box of cereal next to the window that is on fire, and only on fire at the top of the box. The scene takes three or four minutes, yet through it all the fire never spreads to the rest of the box or dies out. The top just keeps on burning. Product placement, methinks... (00:49:05 - 00:50:45)

Continuity mistake: After Freddy, the first cat, lands in Pam's arms, she yells, "Good throw, Deeds". In the following shot, before Deeds rescues the other cats from the fire, the policeman on the left can be seen holding and stroking a different cat. (00:49:50)

Kylantha

Continuity mistake: The second cat that Deeds rescues is a gray and black tabby with white paws, but when it is about to hit the catcher, it's turned into a ginger cat. When a man comes out of the manhole with the cat in his arms, it's a gray and white tabby with dark paws. (00:49:50)

Kylantha

Revealing mistake: When the dog catches the cat, which bounces off the trampoline, it is blatantly obvious the dog in fact has a soft toy cat in his mouth. (00:50:05)

Hamster

Nazo, the Italian Delivery Man: Holy Shit, it's a cat.

Trivia: Sticking with the To Kill A Mockingbird references, in the scene where Deeds and Pam are outside of Pam's "apartment" and the old lady and dog walk out. She calls the lady "Mrs. Finch" and the dog "Atticus". Atticus Finch was the main characters name in To Kill A Mockingbird.

Chosen answer: Helicopter performance is dependent on a number of factors, including air density. As altitude increases, air density decreases and the performance of the helicopter falls as well. At the height of Mt Everest, the air density has fallen to a sufficient degree that most helicopters would be unable to function (few helicopters are capable of functioning above 20,000 feet, nine thousand feet lower than the summit of Everest).
