Continuity mistake: When Nicholas is about to strike Swift Heart Rabbit with the fire, his right shoe happens upon a wad of gum - the final ingredient for his magic spell. At this point he removes some of the gum and makes his way to the castle. Later on, when uttering the last three words of the incantation by the cauldron, Nicholas can be seen wearing two shoes and pulling a third one from his cape - which is soiled with gum; whereas he should only be wearing a left shoe. Continuity mistake: As Grams and Grumpy Bear walk away to search for Baby Hugs and Tugs, Grumpy pushes his heart-shaped creeper underneath the rainbow rescue beam. By the time Baby Tugs walks over and activates the beam, the creeper has disappeared. (00:10:35)
Continuity mistake: When the evil spirit urges Nicholas to continue reading so that Fetuccini will fall asleep, Nicholas' right hand jumps from the book's page to his face, between frames. (00:16:55)
Continuity mistake: After trying to reach out to Kim and Jason for the first time, Secret Bear and Friend Bear get turned down, so they look at each other in disbelief. But just before the scene cuts away, the bears instantly turn their heads toward Kim and Jason between shots. (00:06:30)
Continuity mistake: In order to snap Nicholas out of his evil trance, Tenderheart and the other Care Bears attempt one more stare on him and the evil spirit's book. While Nicholas and the spirit are laughing together, the bears' colorful array of light beams is visible beneath the book. After the Cousins are finished calling, Nicholas shows signs of weakness. But when the evil spirit's pages are flipping out of control in the next shot, the Care Bears are still staring of course, but their light beams are not visible at all. (01:03:05)
Continuity mistake: After Nicholas turns a key to unlock the evil spirit's book, it opens itself to the very middle and emits a powerful sequence of green light rays. As a result, Nicholas is thrown to a wall in the next shot; but now all of the book's pages are flipping back and forth wildly all of a sudden. (00:16:05)
Continuity mistake: When Friend Bear is peering through Wish Bear's star-o-scope during the opening credits, a rainbow and pink cloud hut are visible in the background. As soon as the shot changes, Friend Bear walks off screen. But now both the rainbow and hut have disappeared completely. (00:03:30)
Continuity mistake: When the cloud clipper first appears in the Forest of Feelings, Wish Bear is on the bow looking through a star-o-scope - which has a green handle and mount. Continuity mistake: As Kim, Jason, Friend and Secret Bear are hanging from a tree upon entering the Forest of Feelings, notice that Jason's shoes are white, excluding a small black stripe on each one. As Secret Bear motions that Brave Heart Lion is near, the entire right side of each shoe has turned completely black. (00:27:25)
Continuity mistake: When the remaining Care Bear Cousins are introduced, they start jumping from the cliff's edge. Proud Heart Cat changes color from tan to blue by the time Braveheart catches her at the bottom. (00:48:30)
