9.7/10.A great sequel which had so much ambition.I enjoyed it more than the original because it gave us more than the original such as different Gremlins like Daffy, my favorite one.The cameos like Dick Butkus, Bubba Smith, etc, were a nice touch.The story and cast were solid as I felt this sequel was trying its darndest to upstage or at least to match its predecessor.The only shame is that it failed at the box office due to coming out six years after the original.I still like it, would put it on my list of 20 Best Sequels.

Grandpa Fred: They put me on at 3am. People who are awake at 3am aren't afraid of the Wolfman. The only thing that frightens those people is sobering up and going to work.
Trivia: When the movie played in theaters, there was a scene where Dr. Catheter begins to tell Billy about the gremlins before the movie is interrupted by gremlins until they are threatened by Hulk Hogan. When the movie was released on VHS, the scene was changed to static appearing and gremlins constantly changing the channels. This caused many people who bought or rented the movie to think there was something wrong with the tape and took it back to the stores they purchased it from.
Question: The IMDB states that Bubba Smith was in this movie as himself. What scene is he in?
Answer: He's at the salad bar when the gremlin pops out and grabs a guy. The guy they grab is former football star, Dick Butkus.
