Rocky V

Question: At the end of the movie after Tommy knocks Paulie to the ground, George Duke pulls Tommy away and yells something at him. It is right before Rocky says "Now you knocked him down, why don't you try knocking me down now." He is saying it way too fast so it is hard to hear him. What does he yell at Tommy? (and its not "save it for the ring" like an earlier answer stated. it was something else).

Chosen answer: He says "break your hand on his brother, and what are you worth then, huh?"

Question: When Rocky goes bankrupt, I find it hard to believe that he couldn't have kept his lifestyle. With his popularity as champion, couldn't he be hired as an analyst for ESPN, Showtime or HBO? What about a book deal? He could have even done speaking engagements and appeared at shows for five figures. Or even do commercials?

Chosen answer: Rocky is bankrupt due to his manager's mismanagement and is now nearly one million dollars in debt. Any money he could make from endorsements, commercials, etc. would only be garnished. He also suffers from depression and was diagnosed with having some brain damage from his last fight, possibly making him unsuitable as a spokesperson, public speaker, or sports analyst. Of course, it also serves the plot better if Rocky is in more dire circumstances.

At the end of Rocky IV, Rocky's son Robert is around 6 or 7 years old. After Rocky comes back from Russia in Rocky V, his son is around 12. While there was a 5 year interval between Rocky IV and V, no time had elapsed from the two in movie time. So, therefore, his son should still be the same age given that Rocky has just recently fought Drago, "The Russian" considering his bruises, and they all returned home right after the fight.
