Continuity mistake: The tire tracks in the mud left by the VW go past where Jason is standing in the middle of the road even though Jason hasn't moved. The shots looking at the car from behind Jason show no tracks in the mud at all. (00:13:08)

Other mistake: To the right of Lizbeth on the window you can see a reflection of a U shape object offscreen that is not there in the next shot when she begins to back up. (00:12:40)

Revealing mistake: When Jason turns to heart punch Hawes his hand is already bloody before he punches. The blood flies off his hand when he pulls his arm back. A piece of bloody meat can be seen on top of his hand when his arm comes forward. (00:08:12)

FreDroDaGod

Revealing mistake: You can see the light used to simulate lightning turn on and off in the reflection of the eye. The light is circular and right beside another stage light. Real lightning would have outshined the other light and the entire pupil would have flashed white. You can also see it again in the next closeup of the eye. (00:07:00)

FreDroDaGod

Continuity mistake: The headlights from the cop cars that were right on her tail are now gone and the road behind the car is dark when she hooks the right on Cunningham Rd. In one second the cops have fallen so far back it takes them more than ten seconds before they pull into frame. (00:51:52)

FreDroDaGod

Other mistake: The road block would have been visible to Megan before she turned her head and said "keep an eye out for road blocks". (00:50:00)

FreDroDaGod

Continuity mistake: In this scene where Jason grabs Sissy he grabs her by her shoulders, but the next shot when he pulls her out the window his left hand is on her neck and his right hand is between her legs. This was the only way Jason could pull her through the window without her lower body slamming into the window frame. (00:49:00)

FreDroDaGod

Continuity mistake: The position of the Lemon Brus can beside Sissy's bed changes. In the first shot it's turned around backwards facing the box behind it so you can only read Lemo. In the next shot where Sissy grabs the can the label is facing the camera and you can read the entire label Lemon Lime Brus. (00:46:38)

FreDroDaGod

Continuity mistake: Jason cut the phone line and leaves a deep gouge in the post but in the following shot the line is intact and the post has no gouge in it. (00:46:16)

FreDroDaGod

Continuity mistake: When Jason looks at the camp and you can see the Camp Forest Green sign there is smoke coming out of the chimney of the cabin with the welcome sign. In the next shot where Jason walks into the camp there is no smoke coming from the chimney. Also, there is a change in the lighting visible by looking at the shadows created by the bushes on the left. (00:44:58)

FreDroDaGod

Revealing mistake: You can see through the RV and it has been gutted. It's completely empty except for a stuntman that is sitting in the middle and not the drivers seat because the RV is about to land on the driver's side. (00:40:56)

FreDroDaGod

Continuity mistake: The position of the blinds behind Cort changes. It's all the way down at first but the next shot the blinds are rolled halfway up. (00:40:27)

FreDroDaGod

Continuity mistake: In the RV bathroom the curtain rod they knock down in the struggle could not have possibly been there when Jason dragged her into the bathroom. The rod is lower than the top of the door and would have been knocked down. It's obviously not there when Jason jumps out. (00:39:50)

FreDroDaGod

Continuity mistake: In Part V the mayor says Jason was cremated, which would mean there would be no body to "bring back" for this film.

Continuity mistake: There is shot of the car turning hard to the right that doesn't belong here. It's part the upcoming shot when Megan hooks the wheel and skids to a stop in front of her father. You can see the red light from her fathers police car on the front end and side as it turns. She is not on Cunningham road yet. Also, the driver of the car appears to be a man with a moustache wearing a blonde wig. (00:51:25)

FreDroDaGod

Audio problem: When the deputy is showing Sheriff Garris the remains of Roy, Sheriff Garris says "Our boy sure wants us to believe his story" The shot holds on the two of them for a second too long and the Sheriff is nodding his head and not speaking when the audio starts "Our boy..." The sheriffs mouth is closed when he says "Our boy..." before the shot cuts to the severed leg. (00:46:08)

FreDroDaGod

Visible crew/equipment: When Megan is balancing in the chair there is a line attached to the bottom left side of the window blinds and it's being pulled by someone off camera. It's briefly visible by her right wrist while balancing and becomes visible when she falls backwards hitting the line causing the blinds to move even more. This is a little misdirection to draw attention to the window and to make you think Jason is gonna come through behind her. (00:43:45)

FreDroDaGod

Continuity mistake: After Tommy begins reading the book the next shot of Jason walking doesn't belong there. It is part of shot from later in the movie after Sheriff Garris shoots Jason in the head. The bullet wound and the blood from the head crush kill are visible on the mask. (00:43:13)

FreDroDaGod

Revealing mistake: The windshield wipers on the RV have disappeared along with the blinds and curtains. Also the driver appears to be wearing a helmet. (00:39:26)

FreDroDaGod

Tommy: I went to go cremate Jason but I fucked up.
Deputy Rick: You got that right.

Question: Normally, whenever Jason gets shot, struck with a machete or an axe, or stabbed with a knife, he shrugs it off. So why was he angry when Roy shot him with a paint gun?

JohnShel91

Chosen answer: He wasn't really angry, more like confused and annoyed at having paint shot at him.
