Continuity mistake: The number of elves is usually the same, but their hat colors vary greatly from scene to scene. In the beginning, there's turquoise, purple, pink, and yellow. When Persephone is first going to sit, there are no purple ones, and the turquoise are more blue. When they are dancing around her throne, it is only yellow and turquoise. When Pluto arises, they are yellow, pink, purple, and turquoise again. After Persephone is dragged to the underworld, it's the same colors, but also now dark blue, red, and orange ones appear. Then, when winter is starting, and they are shivering outside, it's back to pink, purple, yellow, and turquoise. Then, in their last scene, dancing around her, once again only yellow and turquoise. Continuity mistake: At the start, some dwarves begin dancing along the way with instruments as wildlife watches them from across a creek. There is a young deer fawn standing there with large spots on its back. When it's standing, its legs are clear of spots and just solid brown. Yet as the fawn starts to lay down, the spots move across its fur and when it's fully lying down, the spots are now on its back legs and knee. (00:00:40)

Continuity mistake: As the elves are dancing along the creek playing their instruments, each one with a different colour hat has a different instrument. In this shot, the ones with the yellow hat have a horn, and the ones with purple hats have a harp. However, after the dissolve to a closer shot, these have swapped, with the yellow hats now having harps and the purple hats having horns. The rest of the elves remain the same. (00:00:45)

Revealing mistake: When Persephone is brought to her throne, she takes a bow. Watch the fawn next to the throne; in that moment, for a few frames, one of his legs disappears. And there's an animation glitch where a white line shaped like his leg appears on his body, then flickers up for about 3 or 4 frames before his leg returns to normal. (00:01:10)

Continuity mistake: After Persephone sits down, some flowers run up to the base of her throne and bow before her. They are still a good distance away from the stone base of her throne. And there is also a significant distance between her feet and the edge of the base. When the image dissolves to the next shot, not only are the flowers suddenly right up next to the stone base, but so are her feet right near the edge. (00:01:25)

Continuity mistake: After Pluto arises from Hell, we get a side shot of Persephone's throne. In this angle, several things about her throne and the items around it have changed. The throne itself is wider, the curls of the arm rests are smaller, the cornucopias have shrunk and have less food in them, some of the fruit in front of the cornucopias has changed or disappeared, the stems on the pumpkins change, and one of the trees behind her throne is now much closer and beside her. Continuity mistake: When Pluto first walks up to Persephone and bows, the tree next to her throne with flowers on it is visible. After he tells her he's chosen her to be queen, it cuts to a close-up of her protesting, and now we see the tree again, but all the flowers have changed. A white one has disappeared, and now it's a closer cluster of orange and red flowers with no pink ones. (00:02:50)

Other mistake: After Pluto rises up from the Underworld, all the elves hide. When Pluto snatches Persephone and carries her away, the elves come out of hiding and begin to follow. The animation layer of the last elf on the left (turquoise hat) is not rendered properly, so his head and body appear out of thin air, mid-shot. (00:02:55)

Revealing mistake: As Pluto is carrying the goddess off, the elves attempt to rush to her rescue, only to be stopped by the little demons. As they are shuffling around, several of them go up on the hill, trying to get around; however, the perspective of their size doesn't change enough in proportion to the hill and gazebo, making the elves look like they are giants when further up the hill. Trivia: This short film animation is based around the Greek legend of Persephone and Hades, though using the Roman name for him as Pluto. They leave out the fact that Pluto/Hades and she are blood relatives, with Pluto/Hades actually being Persephone's uncle. They also conflate Pluto with the Christian devil, Satan, and the underworld looking like depictions of Hell.
