Zoolander

Trivia: Every time that Hansel appears near Mugatu he says "Hansel is so hot right now".

Trivia: When Derek confronts Maury, right before he does the Derelict show, the scene is a parody of the The Godfather: Part II scene where Michael Corleone confronts his brother Fredo, who had betrayed him.

Trivia: Another family member of Ben Stiller shows up. After the Zoolander commercial at the end the director of the commercial who comes up to Derek is Ben's brother-in-law.

Trivia: Ben Stiller is related to many people in the movie. Maury Balmstine is actually his father. The person who throws an egg at the dog is his mother. And last but not least, Matilda is his wife.

Trivia: In classic Trek, there is a creature with white fur called a Mugatu - where the bad guy got his name.

Grumpy Scot

Trivia: Will Farrell is not wearing a wig: that is his actual hair.

Trivia: Another Stiller family member made an appearance in this movie. Ben's sister is seen when Derek is first introduced to everyone in Hansels pad where they will hide out. She is the redhead seen to give the 'peace' sign.

Trivia: In the part where Maury Ballstein (Jerry Stiller) grabs the women's behind, the voice that says, "Oh Maury!" isn't the woman. It's Ben Stiller's wife, co-star Christine Taylor, doing a voice over.

Trivia: Ben Stiller said on Conan O'Brien's podcast that they filmed a much more grim version of the gasoline fight, with a long, drawn-out shot of the flames spreading and engulfing the models, filmed with three stuntmen actually aflame. He realised it was so detailed that it was just horrifying rather than funny. He also noted the explosion was bigger than planned and blew the windows out of the building opposite.

Continuity mistake: When Derek was giving the eulogy for his model friends, they show him from a distance and there is a barge slowly going by in the river behind him, within a second they switch to a close up and the barge is gone. (00:17:05)

Mugatu: Let me show you Derelicte. It is a fashion, a way of life inspired by the very homeless, the vagrants, the crack whores that make this wonderful city so unique.
