Continuity mistake: When Luther escapes in his car, from the mansion and the agents chasing him, there is a shot of the guys and the female inside the mansion, when they discover the two way mirror and open it. The agent with the grey hair stands in the door frame, but in the following shot he is further in the room and now the woman stands in the door frame.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Luther drops a gift off at the hotel for Gloria Russell, when she opens the card to look who it is from, in this shot we see she has her right fingers on top of the card, and the left at the bottom, but a closeup shot of the card shows she has both the left and right fingers at the bottom of the card, then in the following shot the right fingers are back at the top of the card.
Continuity mistake: When Luther is drawing, the woman next to him starts to talk to him and when she says, "May I" Luther moves his left arm from the board down to his knee, so that she can turn the page. In the overhead shot when she turns the page, Luther's left arm is still on the board.
Continuity mistake: At the start, when Luther is inside the mirrored room in the mansion, Allen Richmond is standing in front of the mirror until the lady walks up and he puts his arm around her neck. He kisses her cheek, and she puts her head back then closes her eyes, but in the the reflection she is looking at the mirror and she does not have her head back anymore.
Continuity mistake: When the President's two bodyguards see the curtains move, the woman says "the bedroom, get up there". They run into the house, the camera cuts to Clint Eastwood, then back to the woman. In the background, the two bodyguards are running into the house again.
Continuity mistake: After Clint's daughter's car is pushed over the cliff and tumbles down the hill, a log can be seen rolling toward the front of the car. The log then gets jammed under the right front side of the vehicle as the car and log come to a complete stop. Later as Clint arrives at the scene and looks down the precipice, the log has clearly been moved about 6 feet from the vehicle and is nowhere near where it was at the end of the previous scene.
