Question: Chavez calls Billy "Chevato". What does this mean?

Answer: Chevato was an Apache warrior born in Mexico. History remembers him as the shaman that introduced peyote rituals to the American tribes.

Answer: He calls him Chivito. Chivo means goat - chivito is the diminuative, ie. a baby goat, which is a kid, hence Billy The Kid.

He didn't call him Chivito, he called him Chivato.
