Trivia: Originally Woody was to have a nightmare where he was being attacked by a giant Buzz Lightyear with real working lasers. While the idea was dropped from the film, it was later used as a boss battle in the promotional video game, and later as an inspiration for Woody's nightmare in Toy Story 2.
Trivia: While Buzz is riding RC chasing after the moving truck, when Scud runs into the intersection causing the car pile-up, we see the building "Virtual Realty" the real estate company that sold Andy's house, and the bowling alley "Luxo Lanes" named after "Luxo, Jr" the first short film produced by Pixar in 1986. In the car pile-up, a blue car's license plate is "RES1536" which is also the Pizza Planet truck's license plate number, and the number's taken from Toy Story's film resolution - 1536 x 922, the RES stands for resolution. Also, on the teal car's tire it reads "Tigger Paw" named after Disney's Tigger, and a play on the brand Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires.

Trivia: Originally, Toy Story was going to be about a bear in a toy store. However, the animators decided it would be hard at the time to animate fur for a bear, so they eventually changed the story to what it is now. They kept the bear design, you can see him on the shelf when Woody has his staff meeting. That same bear went through some design changes, and became Lotso from Toy Story 3.
