Continuity mistake: Maxwell Lord is confronted by an angry investor in his office while his son is with him. This guy, Simon, says it did not take much digging "to find that out." Pedro Pascal that was leaning against the map of the supposed oil wells turns towards him, but he is leaning again against the map in the next shot. (00:37:50)
Continuity mistake: When Diana picks up the receipt at the bottom of the artefact's box, the slip changes position between her hands between shots, and she is holding it with just the left hand in close-up, with both in the wider angle. (00:40:00)

When he tells her not to accept "the limitations of nature", look behind her at the people coming down the stairs; there's a very characteristic man with a moustache, tan sunglasses and greasy hair. Seconds pass, and when Minerva chuckles at Max's remarks, there's that same guy again descending that same flight of stairs. (00:42:50)
Continuity mistake: When Steve points at the mirror to express his approval of the body he is leeching on, he is missing the rag he had in his right hand. (00:50:10)

Continuity mistake: Max's secretary tells him that the Wall Street Journal wants to interview him; she holds the phone with the right hand on the microphone and the left hand above it, but she's waving the phone in her right in the next shot, the left hand being on the cable, several centimeters below. The ring with the Gods' writing is in a different spot of the table compared to other shots (for instance, there's a page in between the jewelry and the other pointed dark item on the desk, absent in other shots). Continuity mistake: Barbara sprints out of the J. Edgar Hoover Building to deliver her news about the stone's history. A drunk dude goes "Hey babe!" at her; in the faraway shot he was holding his beer in the right hand, but he is holding it with his left at the cut. (01:14:20)
Continuity mistake: When Barbara kicks around the drunk dude who tried to have his way with her earlier, the smoke behind her in the alley changes very noticeably between shots a couple times. Look for instance when she says; "Yeah I think I get it now" advancing all menacing. The smoke was across the street, mostly flat, but now it's hovering far up for a shorter length. (01:15:30)
Continuity mistake: When Barbara is torturing the guy who keeps harassing girls, she smashes him into the van then she kicks him once, and then a second time. You can see he is dropping some keys, but when she approaches him to finish him with more stomps, the keys are gone from the sidewalk. (01:15:50)
Continuity mistake: Barbara kicks the Dangerous Drunk one last time, and we see him fall with the feet next to the curb of the sidewalk. The man is still conscious and tries to move, seemingly to crawl forward, but we do not see him even budge, and when Leon the cultured hobo arrives mere seconds later the guy is unconscious and can't even move, but he's in the middle of the road now. (01:16:05)
Continuity mistake: In the meeting with the Emir, Lord puts his arm on the ruler's sleeve. Notice the turban; it drapes over his shoulder at "Tell me what you wish for", but at the cut it is behind his back. (01:17:30)
Answer: This was not explained in WW84, so any answer would be speculation. It is rumored that Lynda Carter, who played Asteria, may appear in Wonder Woman 3, which will hopefully explain her backstory. She is probably similar to Diana, who also chose to live among regular humans, secretly using her powers for good.
