Other mistake: Steve and Diana get a wonderful view of the fireworks flying through them. They are on a jet plane and Steve is actively flying it with the engines on, but they get the kind of view you'd get driving lazily a car on a country road. (01:11:30)

Sammo

Revealing mistake: When Barbara is checking out the microfilms that talk about the mysterious stone, you can see in the last one just before the close-up on her eyes that it bears the date "1986", posterior to the movie setting (you may need to pause to read the full paragraph, which says indeed "During 1986, sections were drawn", and it's also worth adding that you can also spot easily that most paragraphs are recycled from one slideshow to the next). (01:13:40)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: The guy that brings the films to Barbara and tries to flirt her up with the "Coffee, tea, me?" pick-up line, in the first shot has the metal case pressed against his tie, and in the next one his tie is crooked and the case is more towards his left. (01:13:45)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: Barbara sprints out of the J. Edgar Hoover Building to deliver her news about the stone's history. A drunk dude goes "Hey babe!" at her; in the faraway shot he was holding his beer in the right hand, but he is holding it with his left at the cut. (01:14:20)

Sammo

Other mistake: Barbara in her rage against the dangerous drunk throws him against a parked truck. The impact is so strong it deforms the truck bed. By a LOT, and yet the guy is able to get up (on his knees at least). That impact should have pulverized his ribs, he's not a superhero. (01:15:25)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: When Barbara kicks around the drunk dude who tried to have his way with her earlier, the smoke behind her in the alley changes very noticeably between shots a couple times. Look for instance when she says; "Yeah I think I get it now" advancing all menacing. The smoke was across the street, mostly flat, but now it's hovering far up for a shorter length. (01:15:30)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: When Barbara is torturing the guy who keeps harassing girls, she smashes him into the van then she kicks him once, and then a second time. You can see he is dropping some keys, but when she approaches him to finish him with more stomps, the keys are gone from the sidewalk. (01:15:50)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: Barbara kicks the Dangerous Drunk one last time, and we see him fall with the feet next to the curb of the sidewalk. The man is still conscious and tries to move, seemingly to crawl forward, but we do not see him even budge, and when Leon the cultured hobo arrives mere seconds later the guy is unconscious and can't even move, but he's in the middle of the road now. (01:16:05)

Sammo

Character mistake: Greeting Steve in his gardens, the Emir says "Your fortune the last few days has been impressive to say the least." It literally happened overnight, not 'days'. (01:16:50)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: In the meeting with the Emir, Lord puts his arm on the ruler's sleeve. Notice the turban; it drapes over his shoulder at "Tell me what you wish for", but at the cut it is behind his back. (01:17:30)

Sammo

Other mistake: The Emir wishes his ancestral land to be returned to him and the heathens to be kept out, but the wall that magically appears has 'heathens' on both sides of it, so his wish does not seem to be fulfilled. (01:19:00)

Sammo

Factual error: When Max is driving off with the egyptian Emir's former security team, they are driving cars that have license plates with numbers and letters. In the '80s, Egyptian license plates were in a numbers only format. (01:19:20)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: Diana in the egyptian taxi tells Steve she's fine while she is posing with her fingers at the temple like a headache. He interjects "You keep saying that, but..." and when the horn honks she is leaning against the back of her hand instead. (01:20:10)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: When Diana is looking at Maxwell Lord from the car that is travelling parallel to his vehicle, Gal Gadot's hand is inside the car when she's viewed from behind, and outside in the reverse shot. (01:20:40)

Sammo

Revealing mistake: Steve's and Diana's Peugeot (2300 lbs) gets sideswiped by a Fahd APC (11.6 tons) but has no damage to its rear quarter panel. (01:20:50 - 01:25:20)

Movie Medic

Deliberate mistake: Steve is not superhuman, but he could see and almost (Diana whips it out of the way first) dodge a bullet at the beginning of the car chase. (01:21:55)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: After the battle feat when she pushed a truck for hundreds of meters at cruise speed shielding herself from bullets, Wonder Woman hides with her back to another truck bed. Gal Gadot's hair is across her face, or not, depending on the shot. (01:22:40)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: When Wonder Woman tosses the soldier off the truck using her cartoonish lasso before getting shot, the guy is flying away with his legs towards the road, but then rolls along the road with his legs pointed at the opposite direction. (01:22:46)

Sammo

Other mistake: You'd think that a road in the middle of a desert wasteland in Egypt would be boring, but the day when a giant wall appears in the country and tanks blow up at hearing distance (especially, again, being in the middle of nowhere), kids can't be bothered and just keep on playing football in the middle of said road. A missile is fired literally seconds before and explodes right there, and yet they are still oblivious and play ball. Same thing for the adults; people casually walk around and look when WWIII has been happening meters away from them. (01:25:40)

Sammo

Other mistake: In a classic physics mistake that superhero comics already dealt with in the early 70s, Wonder Woman to 'save' the kids pounces them at the speed of (literally) a rocket, faster than a car, and even falls with them in an uncontrolled tumble on the asphalt. Those kids should have been reduced to a pulp. (01:25:40)

Sammo

Diana Prince: Nothing good is born from lies. And greatness is not what you think.

Trivia: At one point during the movie Wonder Woman uses her lasso to move around by riding the lightning. This is a reference to the Metallica album "Ride the lightning" which came out in 1984. (02:04:00)

More trivia for Wonder Woman 1984

Answer: When Barbara Minerva wished to be just like Diana, she was granted the same strength and powers as Wonder Woman. Barbara additionally became less humane and even more powerful and dangerous after morphing into "Cheetah." Diana needed the armor to outmatch and defeat Barbara. She was also expecting to fight a multitude of soldiers to get to Max. The armor was originally Asteria's, who needed the extra protection when she battled an army to save the other Amazons.
