Continuity mistake: At the Galleria, the T-1000 fires rounds into the Terminator's back, but the damage to his jacket disappears when he is thrown through the window. (Director James Cameron said the scripting of this sequence at the time of filming was different). (00:32:10 - 00:32:55)

Continuity mistake: In the hospital scene where Arnie is rescuing Sarah, he throws a black man against a glass wall. In the next shot the man is sliding down the wall and he's now white. (00:55:20)

Continuity mistake: When the T-1000 walks through the bars at the mental clinic, he gets his handgun stuck in the bars for a few seconds before removing it. In the close-up shot we can see the gun is stuck. But in the wide shot that precedes it, his gun isn't stuck at all. Actor Robert Patrick (T-1000) unconvincingly has his arm wrapped around the bar to make it look like his gun is stuck. (01:02:00)

Revealing mistake: After the Terminator uses John Connor's switchblade to remove the skin on his forearm, the wires controlling the Terminator's prosthetic arm are visible underneath his shirt, at the top right of his torso. (01:37:00)

Revealing mistake: Special Edition. The biggest giveaway about the false mirror in the 'chip removal' scene is that John's 'reflection' has his back to the mirror when Sarah is drilling, whereas the real John is standing side-on to it. Also notice that John nervously looks at the camera in this shot. (01:11:50)

Continuity mistake: The gas that the Terminator shoots at the SWAT members while inside the foyer of the Cyberdyne building, is nowhere near the front door when compared to when the Terminator exits the building. The Terminator has to walk through a gas haze as he opens the front door. (01:59:45)

Continuity mistake: Immediately after the Terminator shoots the gate guard at the mental institute, there is blood on the guard shack wall. A few seconds later, the blood has vanished. (00:57:30)

Visible crew/equipment: When the Terminator looks back and fires his shotgun at the truck's tire, on the far right side we can see part of an orange cable or pole with rigging attached to the back of the motorcycle. (00:37:40)

Continuity mistake: When the T-1000 is shot down next to the video games arcade, his face expression changes between frames. (00:32:25)

Revealing mistake: In the scene when the T-800 first comes through the time machine, in the shot where he stands up. If you look towards the right side of the bowl shape that's melted into the ground, you can see that the bowl shape is actually above ground. There's a shadow being cast by it on the right side. (00:06:30)

Continuity mistake: When the Terminator smashes the driver's window of the blue station wagon, there is a large section of glass at the top of the door that is stuck in the runner of the door. In the next shot as the Terminator is closing the door, this same section of glass is now missing. Not enough time has passed in the shots for it to disappear and there's no sound of it dropping. (01:13:25)

Revealing mistake: When the truck chase scene ends with a wheel moving in flames, Terminator and John leave on the bike leaving skid marks on the road. Watch the left side and you'll notice another skid mark from a previous take.

Visible crew/equipment: As Sarah starts to slide to a stop as she sees the Terminator, you can see the shadow of the camera on her left shoulder and arm.

Trivia: When the biker stubs his cigar out on the Terminator's chest, Arnie's protection was only a small block and piece of fake skin the size of a dime, so the actor had to be very careful to avoid burning him.

Continuity mistake: When Sarah Connor throws the keys to a male orderly to distract him, Dr. Silberman is standing right behind him. Two shots later, we see the doctor several feet away. The time lapse between the two shots was only one or two seconds. (00:56:25)

Continuity mistake: When John stops his bike at the canal, a supermarket trolley and a flat tire appear behind him. (00:35:00)
Chosen answer: He's initially playing Missile Command, then he goes to play After Burner.
