Terminator 2: Judgment Day
Terminator 2: Judgment Day mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When the T-800 arrives between the tractor-trailers, you can see a bumper sticker (i.e. "Vehicle makes wide turns") on the back of the trailer when the sparking begins. When Arnie arrives in the bubble it "melts" out the back corner of the trailer, and the sticker is no longer there. (00:05:50)

Continuity mistake: In the shot where T-800 arrives in the time bubble, the bubble removes a clean cut chunk of the rear end of the truck. If you look at the very center of the wheel that is cut in half, there is part of the axle right at the tip of that wheel which is not cut. (00:06:25)

Continuity mistake: At the Galleria, the T-1000 fires rounds into the Terminator's back, but the damage to his jacket disappears when he is thrown through the window. (Director James Cameron said the scripting of this sequence at the time of filming was different). (00:32:10 - 00:32:55)

Continuity mistake: The Winchester 1887 lever action rifle is shown with different levers as the Terminator needs them. When on foot, the lever is of a standard narrow type and when on the bike, it has a large lever loop that also has a metal hand plate attached to it, making it easier for Arnold to flip-cock the gun when reloading. (00:32:20 - 00:36:35)

Factual error: The truck that the T-1000 uses to try and run down John in the overspill, is a Freightliner FLA 9664, which uses a diesel engine - it does not use petrol. Diesel is much harder to combust in comparison to petrol/gasoline, and the spark from the battery cables on the spilt diesel would absolutely never ignite under those circumstances. (00:37:55)

Trivia: The insert car driver (towing the bike ridden by Eddie Furlong) was warned at the very beginning of the scene where John rides out of the mall and the T-1000 is chasing him, that Robert Patrick could run exceptionally well. The driver confidently said that Patrick wouldn't catch him. However, on the very first take, Patrick ran right up and tapped Furlong on the shoulder. So if this was real life, the human race would be in trouble.
