Stupidity: When Greg volunteers to watch the security monitors to see if the creatures can affect people through a screen, no-one even thinks to remain in the room with him to cover up the monitors with a blanket, towel or something similar in case the creatures' power can be transmitted that way. They tied him to a chair to reduce his chances of committing suicide, so they certainly thought there was a possibility that he would be in danger.

Continuity mistake: Malorie pulls out her Sig Sauer P229 handgun and begins firing but the insane guy disarms her and the handgun falls. Malorie is on a boat and the crazy guy is standing in deep water. It isn't shown where the handgun lands when it falls out of the insane guy's hand. Later on Malorie pulls another Sig Sauer handgun from the same holster, however this time it's a model P228 or possibly P226, the 226 has a 0.5 inch longer barrel. The 229 and 228 have completely different slides. The 229 is a legacy. (00:36:50 - 01:01:30)
Trivia: Following the success of this film, Netflix had to release a statement begging views to not try the "Bird Box Challenge" that was sweeping social media and putting many people in hospital. Question: Why didn't they stay in the store with all the food? The one guy suggests it and they bring up the fact that some others are still at the house and will starve... But couldn't they have just used the car to go back and collect them and bring them to the store? Alternatively, why didn't they make multiple trips to the store to bring back as much food as they could? They could have come back, unloaded and then gone straight back out again (meaning the car couldn't have been stolen). By this point they knew it was safe, they could have even have just sent 2 people giving them more space in the car to load it with supplies.
Answer: After what happened to Charlie, they were discouraged from staying or returning to the store.
