Harvey Russell: Like my grandpappy always said: us assholes gotta stick together. (00:50:25)
Other mistake: Davis tells Kate to go and she jumps out of the falling plane, her chute opening. Davis then takes a minute to free Harvey from the plane as it's still falling before they both get out. Once they are free falling he takes a few seconds before he pulls their chutes as well. However as they are coming down close to the plane crash site, Kate is near level with them in altitude as they are all coming down together. With how high she was when she jumped out compared to the time it took for Davis and Harvey to get out of the plane and open their chutes, she would have been several minutes behind them in the sky, not right next to them. (00:47:45 - 00:49:05)
Suggested correction: She jumped first and would have already descended in altitude. Then the guys jump and freefalled and pulled their chutes so it is plausible they caught up to her altitude when their chutes opened.
Stupidity: Ultimately, it did wind up working. However when they shoved the antidote vial into Claire's purse and got George's attention so he would eat her, this was an insanely stupid move. 1. They had no way of knowing if he would actually choose to eat her if he even grabbed her in the first place. Before then he'd been crushing people and even threw the helicopter pilot miles off the building while they watched that happen. 2. The antidote was in a plastic polymer like tube designed to hold the substance inside it while submerged in liquid nitrogen containment. Even if the gorilla's stomach acid could eat through the vial to get to the antidote, it would take hours for it to get through a material like that. 3. Gorillas are herbivores, so it wouldn't have tried to eat a person in the first place. (01:17:55)
Harvey Russell: Weirdos on the internet call him Ralph. (00:38:10)
Davis Okoye: Of course the wolf flies. (01:26:25)
Factual error: When the soldiers are in the woods looking for the wolf, they come across a group a deer that bolt between them and around them scared for their lives and spooked. The deer runs behind the soldiers and they look at each other wondering what happened. Then the giant wolf, Ralph, suddenly comes up from behind the soldiers and eats one. But the deer just ran towards the direction the wolf came from. Meaning the deer got scared, but chose to run towards the giant hungry mutant wolf.
Suggested correction: If you watch carefully, the deer run past them to the right and away from the direction of the camera. Then the wolf comes from right, but from closer to the camera. At the speed that wolf is moving, it was able to circle around them and then strike.
Nelson: Listen buddy. Since everybody else is afraid to tell you this, of course I will... It's um... uh, what's the terminology? Weird! You like hanging out with animals more than people.
Davis Okoye: They get me. Animals like you, they lick you. They don't like you they eat you. You always know where you stand. (00:12:15)
Davis Okoye: Well even assholes deserve a second chance. (00:50:20)
Nelson: Is it me, or is he considerably bigger?
Davis Okoye: Oh, he's definitely bigger. (00:16:35)
[Mutant alligator gets emerges from the water and roars.]
Davis Okoye: Well, that sucks. (01:07:20)
Dr. Kate Caldwell: Wow, that went way better than I thought it would.
Davis Okoye: Yeah it did. You know I was hoping I could knock him out too though.
Dr. Kate Caldwell: You know there are other ways of dealing with people, right?
Davis Okoye: I do know that, yeah. But that's no fun. (01:01:55)
Davis Okoye: You're a geneticist, you're not a shrink.
Dr. Kate Caldwell: I also have a PHD on calling people on their shit.
Davis Okoye: Ah, well this oughtta be good then. (00:54:50)
Dr. Kate Caldwell: And what happened to the poachers?
Davis Okoye: Well they shot at us. And they missed... I shot back. I didn't. (00:53:50)
Dr. Kate Caldwell: This is insane, we're gonna die!
Davis Okoye: Probably! Now go. (00:47:35)
Harvey Russell: Hell of a day, huh? Science experiments falling from the sky. Giant gorilla on the loose. Just the kind of exciting shit we here at the government tend to notice. (00:35:35)
Dr. Kerry Atkins: Mission control, this is Atkins. Something went wrong with the test. The crew is dead, Athena hull integrity is critical. I'm headed to the escape capsule.
Mission Control: Negative. Negative. Reroute to the lab and secure the canisters before departure.
Dr. Kerry Atkins: But the test subject is loose!
Mission Control: Doctor...the test subject is a rat.
Dr. Kerry Atkins: Not any more. (00:01:30 - 00:01:55)
Claire Wyden: Doctor... either you come home with my research, or you don't come home at all. (00:02:15)
Dr. Kate Caldwell: I thought you were dead.
Davis Okoye: Well I think she missed all the vital organs, but uh... don't jinx it. (01:16:45)
