Factual error: At the start of the film when Dr. Atkins is ejecting the escape pod from the space station, she is in a seat facing towards the space station. When she hits the button to eject the pod, it launches backwards, and she is thrown back in her seat when this motion would have thrown her forward. (00:04:10)

Factual error: The B2 can not carry the M.O.A.B. It has to be delivered from a C-130. (01:05:00)

Factual error: When the jet is taking off from Whitman Air Force base in Missouri, there is a mountain range in the background. There are no mountains in that part of Missouri (highest point in Missouri is about 1700 feet). (01:10:30)

Factual error: When the protagonists are able to find the antidote, the doctor rightly slips on a thick rubber glove to take the vial container from a liquid nitrogen cooler (-195.82 °C), and then naively collects the vials with bare fingers, somehow not freezing her fingers off in the process. Suggested correction: Maybe it's freezing inside the container which it was in.

Factual error: When the bomber is coming in towards the city about to drop its payload, it is flying in much too low for the bomb it is using. It is shown and stated to be armed with a MOAB explosive, and thus they would have conducted the airstrike from a much much higher altitude to protect the bomber and its crew from its own blast. Video

Factual error: When the soldiers are in the woods looking for the wolf, they come across a group a deer that bolt between them and around them scared for their lives and spooked. The deer runs behind the soldiers and they look at each other wondering what happened. Then the giant wolf, Ralph, suddenly comes up from behind the soldiers and eats one. But the deer just ran towards the direction the wolf came from. Meaning the deer got scared, but chose to run towards the giant hungry mutant wolf.

Suggested correction: If you watch carefully, the deer run past them to the right and away from the direction of the camera. Then the wolf comes from right, but from closer to the camera. At the speed that wolf is moving, it was able to circle around them and then strike.

Suggested correction: The soldiers turn to face the deer that passed them.

They only turned their heads but not their bodies, watch the clip submitted.

Visible crew/equipment: While the team is investigating the space station debris at the wolf crash site, there is a low angle shot. The shadow of the camera is visible on one of the soldiers' feet. (00:21:50)

Question: Why did they have to call a stealth bomber all the way from Missouri to go to Wyoming to bomb the creatures? There is an air force base in Wyoming. And secondly, why even need a stealth bomber? they are targeting animals in an already heavily publicized event.

Quantom X

Answer: Likely because the bomber was prepared with the necessary payload, compared to any in Wyoming.

Answer: The Wyoming Base most likely did not have the ordinance or aircraft capable of carrying the ordinance required so they used the closed base with the available ordinance and aircraft. Not every base has the same ordinance and aircraft at the same time.
