Continuity mistake: At the safe house, as Carmen picks up and begins to read the book "How To Be A Good Spy," the wicker basket tower stands to the side of the stone wall, behind the wicker bench. Yet when she says, "A good spy has no fear," the wicker tower stands in front of the stone wall. Throughout this scene the tower changes position, depending on camera angle. Then, after Ms. Gradenko arrives, the tower and its contents change position in the following consecutive shots. (00:34:15 - 00:35:20)
Deliberate mistake: The body and stunt doubles for Carmen and Juni are especially obvious in many shots throughout the film. (01:13:40)
Continuity mistake: As Carmen and Juni are chased by the Thumb Thumbs in speedboats, Carmen shouts, "You weirdo! You switched it to manual!" As the Guppy and speedboats round the man in the small boat, there is a vast difference between the consecutive close-up, wide and aerial shots. (00:23:20)
Continuity mistake: After Ingrid says, "Carmen, Juni, close your eyes. We don't want you to see this, OK?" and she and Gregorio take down the baddies, the robot kids come into view. In their first close-up they walk well past particular works of art on both sides, yet, after a shot of Ms. Gradenko, in their next close-up they are much further back in the corridor and are just nearing those objects. Continuity mistake: When Carmen and Juni spray instant cement at their dopplegangers, the strings land very messy and end up on the wall and picture to robo-Juni's right. Continuity mistake: When Juni is about to slam the Third Brain into the cement at the park, Carmen grabs his arm to stop him. In some shots Carmen has the handcuff chain in her firm grasp as she holds Juni, but in other shots the chain is free. (00:46:20)

Continuity mistake: In the opening shot of the film, as Carmen sits by the window, Ingrid walks past the table in the hallway when she enters the bedroom and on the table are flowers and a doll. Behind Carmen, a red cloth is draped over the tall dresser. In the following shots a lamp (lit) makes its appearence on the hallway table, the doll's position changes and the red cloth on the dresser not only changes position, but in many shots one side is actually gone. Continuity mistake: When Ingrid is in the bedroom at the vanity table, the tray of makeup with the lipstick at the back is reflected in the large center oval mirror directly behind it. However, in the next close-up as she types on the makeup, the mirror's back wood support and the bedroom wall are behind the makeup, not the mirror. It is only in the next shot, as Ingrid finishes typing, that the mirror actually turns horizontally to expose the wood support and wall. (00:07:35)
Continuity mistake: When robo-Carmen lifts Juni, he drops the plastic wrapper, then the wrapper itself differs when robo-Carmen holds it. (01:15:40)
Continuity mistake: After Lisp and the other men arrive, Minion runs to the robotics lab to supposedly see Floop. When he arrives the Fooglie-making hats change position between shots. Then when he speaks with Juni, Minion's position changes between all the shots facing him and the rest facing Juni. (01:09:55)
Deliberate mistake: When Juni runs out of the white/grey room, the next shot is flipped as he stops short in front of the backwards virtual room sign. When Juni rescues Floop from the virtual room, as they run out the door that white/grey room is visible to the left of the virtual room. (01:03:15 - 01:07:30)
Continuity mistake: At the safehouse, the silver trunk, yellow flashlight, silver pipe, oxygen tank tubes, stool, etc., all standing against the wall beside the escape tunnel, take turns changing position over and over again in consecutive shots. (00:39:15)
Continuity mistake: After Juni asks Agent Donnagon about his mom and dad, he ascends to Carmen, who waits up top. In the wide shots as Juni ascends and descends, the puzzle shaped cover on the circular opening, over Juni's head, is positioned a certain way, yet in the semi close-ups it is positioned differently. Continuity mistake: When Juni and Carmen walk into Machete's shop, the items on Machete's desk differ between the shots facing him and the shots facing them. (00:51:05)
Revealing mistake: When Ms. Gradenko fights with the BuddyPack the wires are visible to her left leading to the floor beside her. Earlier, when the Thumb Thumbs take BuddyPacks from the table, the black harnesses are visible behind the packs. When Juni accidentally sets one off, as it flies it does not have any visible harness, though when Ms. Gradenko fights with it there is an attached harness. (00:39:30)
Continuity mistake: At Floop's castle, Ingrid asks Floop, "Where are the OSS agents you've taken?" Gregorio holds the huge spoon in his right hand, then places it in his left hand and when he looks down to see the fur napkin on the plate in front of him, he makes a face. In the next shot the spoon is back in his right hand and the fur napkin is now on the table under his left hand. (00:32:35)
Revealing mistake: When the CG Thumb Thumbs are seen the length and width of their "arms" and "legs" are distinct. However, when hidden beneath the black garments their arms and legs are much leaner and longer and the hands and feet of the stunt doubles are quite discernable under the black material. One such example is at the safehouse, when Juni peeks out through the door and spots the Thumb Thumbs down below. (00:13:50 - 00:39:30)
