Revealing mistake: If you look at the missing part of the bridge, and look at the shadow underneath, the shadow is of a full bridge.

Revealing mistake: In the scene before they jump the gap, they played the film in fast forward to make the bus appear to be going faster. If you watch the police on the truck in the background, they are moving in fast forward as well.

Revealing mistake: After the first bus explosion when Jack answers the phone, he looks at his watch, which shows 8:05 a.m. If you look closely the watch is on alarm, not regular time.

xx:xx:xx

Revealing mistake: When Jack and Annie are getting off the bus via the access panel on the floor you can see wheels on the bottom of it.

xx:xx:xx

Revealing mistake: After the first bus is blown up, if you look closely there is a truck with a chain pulling the burning bus. (Not really visible on DVD - think it was cleaned up.)

xx:xx:xx

Revealing mistake: As the bus makes the impossible right turn at high speed, you can see the outrigger wheels underneath to stop the bus going over.

Revealing mistake: When the train is sliding along the ground near the end, there are sparks coming from the underneath (supposedly where the metal scrapes the pavement). Look more closely, and you can see that the sparks are coming from a bit of the train that's not touching the pavement anywhere.

Revealing mistake: In the scene where Jack and Annie escape from beneath the bus via a trap door, the shot of them skidding across the runway shows a ring on Jack's left hand as it is wrapped around Annie. Jack is not married in the movie, but his stunt double must be.

Revealing mistake: In the scene where Payne is waiting for the money to be dropped into the bin, he looks through the blinds out onto the street. When he lifts up the blind with his 'bad' hand, you can see his fingers and thumb taped up out of the way.

Revealing mistake: During the rescue of the elevator passengers at the start of the movie, when coaxing the last woman out, there is a shot of the interior of the elevator where you can see the ground through the hole in the elevator floor, even though the elevator is still meant to be on the 22nd floor.

Revealing mistake: At the end, when the empty bus rams the freight plane, the wire pulling the bus can be seen.

Revealing mistake: When Harry and Jack arrive at the building at the start in the police car, you can see the tire skidmarks on the road from previous takes.

Craz

Revealing mistake: In the scene where Jack has come back into the bus from being underneath it, he is talking to Annie about losing gas, if you watch closely he says "Mac" without pressing his button to call him first, then in another shot you see him press it when he starts talking to Mac.

The-Immortal

Revealing mistake: When Howard Payne's house explodes, a wire is visible as it pulls back one of the police officers who gets "blown back" by the explosion.

Add time

Revealing mistake: In the scene in the subway Denis Hopper has again used an explosive jacket like that used at the start of the film, which is detonated if the remote trigger is released. However when on the subway train, Denis takes the remote back from Sandra Bullock and it is seen that the trigger is quite obviously released and Denis pushes it back in.

Add time

Revealing mistake: When Jack is fighting Dennis Hopper on the roof of the subway train, a piece of paper falls off one of them and then stays surprisingly still considering they're on a speeding subway train.

Add time

Revealing mistake: After Jack has taken command of "Tuneman"s car, in the wide shots of them chasing the bus you can tell it's not Keanu Reeves driving. The stunt driver has slightly longer hair in a more squared crew cut.

Add time

Revealing mistake: The Boeing 707 freighter that gets blown up by the bus bomb is obviously a "scrapped" plane (A plane that has lived out it's usefulness and is being readied to be scrapped). One good way of telling this is the plane's exterior shows heavy weathering wear from being stored a long time. But someone told me the way it looks could also be a hasty paint job using ordinary house paint. Either way, still something to look for.

Add time

Revealing mistake: When Jack is under the bus attempting to dismantle the bomb, if you look closely, when the cable comes off the hook, you get a shot of Norwood and the Lieutenant standing on the edge of the van holding the cable - you can see that it's their stunt doubles standing there.

Add time

Revealing mistake: When Jack and Annie are about to slide out from under the bus, if you look closely when we see Annie hold on to Jack's back, you can see stunt wires visible attached to both characters.

Revealing mistake: In the elevator scene, when Jack looks up standing on top of the elevator, you can obviously tell that he is in front of a rear projection. Notice the elevator ropes don't move one bit.

Trent's Mistakes

Revealing mistake: In the shot where Jack and Harry are descending a ladder to the stranded elevator, we get a good look at the elevator shaft and its surroundings. Upon closer inspection you'll notice how the lowermost section of the shaft is actually a mural - given away by the shadows cast upon it.

Revealing mistake: A large crowd of onlookers is visible on the highway overpass in the background as soon as Tuneman props himself up in the driver's seat after crashing into the water barrels.

xx:xx:xx

ryguy_1983

Revealing mistake: When Jack is on the phone with Payne at LAX, a Suburban carrying Lieutenant McMahon and Norwood skids onscreen from between some orange cones. But tire tracks from earlier takes can be seen on the pavement.

xx:xx:xx

ryguy_1983

Revealing mistake: When Payne opens the money bag to see a dye bomb explode, he is wearing a transparent protective face shield (partially visible).

ryguy_1983

Revealing mistake: When Ortiz first sees Jack stranded beneath the moving bus, he lifts his head to tell Annie. But the pavement, as seen through the bus floor's opening, is completely motionless.

xx:xx:xx

ryguy_1983

Revealing mistake: There is a clear shot of Keanu Reeves' stunt double in the Bronco just before it parks on the highway's shoulder near the gridlocked traffic.

xx:xx:xx

ryguy_1983

Revealing mistake: At the off-ramp's red light Jack stomps on Annie's foot to keep the bus going, but she screams in pain before her foot actually gets crushed.

xx:xx:xx

ryguy_1983

Revealing mistake: Before Jack rips the door off the Jaguar, he speeds ahead of the bus and then opens the driver's door at highway speed. At 50 MPH there would be a lot of air resistance, yet Jack opens the door effortlessly.

Add time

Revealing mistake: The whole structure surrounding the elevator appears shiny and spotless, with the wires lacking a single spot of grease, revealing it's a set.

Sacha

Revealing mistake: In the scene right before the bus blows up the "Pacific Courier Freight" plane being towed, you can see the cables on the ground leading towards and underneath the plane, which are used to keep the bus going in a straight path. These cables are also visible in some previous shots before the plane blows up, most notably before the first view of the bomb's speed indicator showing it counting down the speed. If you go frame-by-frame on the close-up of the plane actually blowing up, you can see where it is physically attached to the bus, just behind the front bumper.

xx:xx:xx

Revealing mistake: When Traven is walking back to his car before the first bus explodes, as the bus drives past him, you can see from the shadow it casts that the bus isn't driving straight on. It turns the corner behind his car. Obviously a prop bus is further down the street and that is the one that blows up in its place.

Trivia

The famous "Dukes of Hazzard" sequence was the filmmakers' wry commentary on the uncompleted state of Interstate 105, which had become a running joke among LA motorists. It was finally (and quite uncoincidentally) completed in late 1993 shortly before the film's release, years behind schedule.
