Factual error: When the President is getting out of his car, we see the thin doors, like any usual car. However, in reality, Cadillac One has thick doors that weigh as much a Boeing 757 door. Not to mention the vulnerability of the car used in the movie. There's a reason why the Cadillac One is nicknamed "the beast." (00:23:10)
Continuity mistake: When Mike is telling the President the route to the chapel, it is a close up and when Mike says "It's a cluster ****" the president is looking at him nodding, but it then cuts to behind Lynne Jacob's and he is staring at the map. (00:12:50)
Continuity mistake: When Banning fights three terrorists when the lights come back on, the 3rd gunman's gun changes from a rifle to a sub. (01:16:35)
Continuity mistake: When the US President gets to London and gets out from the chopper, the sun changes between shots. (00:19:10)
Deliberate mistake: Where are the motorcades for the other world leaders?
Plot hole: They find the terrorists by the electricity they're using, but they're using generators, off the grid.
Other mistake: There has been a major terror attack on London. Explosions big enough to send shockwaves across the capitol, and yet people can be seen walking about as if nothing has happened. (00:29:00)
Character mistake: When the Vice President has worked out Banning's signal he says "All right Manning" instead of Banning. (00:48:50)
Suggested correction: I hear him say "Banning."
Factual error: Air Force One has landed. The caption reads: "Stansted airport, 20 miles north of London." it's closer to seventy miles. They probably wanted to get to the city quicker. (00:17:20)
Suggested correction: It's 38 miles to drive down the M11 from Stansted to St Paul's cathedral - and about 20 as the crow flies.
