Continuity mistake: When Fin is talking to Nova and Lucas after the fog, the cut on Nova's cheek changes sides from left to right many times throughout the scene.
Fin Shepard: You're never gonna believe who's giving me a ride.
April Shepard: Let me guess. Nova.
Fin Shepard: Yeah, I'm with Nova. How do you know that?
April Shepard: Who else would give you ride in the middle of a sharknado?
Nova Clarke: Wifey sense. Hi, April! Still not a stripper.
Trivia: After the shark attacks the lifeguard in the pool it cuts to Nova's RV, and while Nova and Fin are watching Matt Lauer and Al Roker, notice the two Archie comics lying beside the laptop. Sharknado's director Anthony C. Ferrante collaborated with Archie Comics artist Dan Parent, and created a comic book titled "Archie vs Sharknado." It was released on the same day as this movie.
