Continuity mistake: After Claudia leaves the ride without her cell phone it cuts to Fin driving his car into dense fog, and in the exterior shots the Toyota's front grille emblem as well as the license plate inexplicably vanish, and then reappear.

Continuity mistake: When Fin is talking to Nova and Lucas after the fog, the cut on Nova's cheek changes sides from left to right many times throughout the scene.
Fin Shepard: It's not space I'm worried about. It's the sharks.
Sergeant: Maybe the sharks can help with the aliens.
Fin Shepard: Aliens?
Trivia: In this movie Lou Ferrigno's name is Banner. In the 70s, Ferrigno starred in the TV show 'The Incredible Hulk' as the muscular green character who morphs from the character Dr. Banner when he's angered. Note that when the sharks are dropping in Secret Service agent Banner, who's protecting the VP, says, "Don't make me angry."
