Professional photographer L.B. "Jeff" Jeffries (Stewart) breaks his leg while getting an action shot at an auto race. Jeff enlists the help of his society model girlfriend Lisa Freemont (Kelly) and his nurse Stella (Ritter) to help him investigate.
