Rambo is called in for a mission to the place that turns his stomach the most, Vitnam. The mission: take pictures of a POW camp and return he has 36 hours. With a knife and a itchy trigger finger, he goes in and the Vietnamese will wish they left him alone.

Character mistake: In the showdown scene between the Vietnamese officer and Rambo, the Vietnamese officer empties an entire magazine at Rambo from only about 20 metres away but only manages to hit the ground around Rambo's feet. What was he doing, aiming at his feet? He deserved to get blown up to bits for that effort.

Chosen answer: Probably because the first film is set in the United States, and Rambo's opponents are non-military, but the sequels are set in Asia and the opponents are "foreign" (mostly Soviet) soldiers.
