Continuity mistake: Marge had her left hand on a Win Fall ticket that (supposedly) was coming out of the printer on the side of the machine. Marge moved her hand away without removing the ticket. When the camera shifted, the ticket was not there. (00:54:10)
Continuity mistake: The clock on the wall at Pee Wee's Pawn Shop advanced from about 12:00 to 12:05 when Frank was talking to Jerry, but it was back to around 12:01 after a few camera shifts. (00:05:59 - 00:06:24)
Continuity mistake: Travis rearranged a photo on the desk, setting it partially in front of the box and the two pictures were a few inches apart. The next wide view showed the corner of the picture almost aligned with the box or slightly behind it and the two pictures were now almost touching. Continuity mistake: The monkey figurines (or charms) on the beads hanging from the rearview mirror change positions from being more horizontal (side-by-side) to vertical (one below the other, and at different distances). Swaying from the SUV's movement might explain some change, but the weight of the monkeys should have kept their positions more balanced (side-by-side or one at the top and the other at the bottom). Continuity mistake: When Lee is walking over to Barry Cook, in the shot from behind, Lee is inches away from Barry, but when the shot cuts, the two are several feet apart. (00:33:40)

Continuity mistake: Various views of Chase's dead body were inconsistent. From the two boys' perspective, Chase's body was at the edge of the water and the sun was shining on the water and along/near his left leg. An aerial view showed a canopy of tree leaves over the area, meaning the sunshine would not be able to penetrate the thick tree cover. From the sheriff's view in the tower (unobstructed by trees), the position of Chase's body relative to the fire tower was too far away and at the wrong angle. (00:03:00 - 00:04:08)
Continuity mistake: Young Norma Jean is shown a photo of her father placed at the head of her bed. It has him facing right and there is a large white defect in the photo at the upper left corner. When the photo is "talking" to her in a succeeding scene, he is facing left, and the defect is on the upper right corner.
Continuity mistake: The clock on the wall behind Casey jumped from 10:45 to 11:00 while he was talking to his wife and daughter. At times, the clock appeared to have 3-4 hands and when a hand should have been visible behind his back pointing at "12", no hands could be seen. (00:19:16 - 00:19:46)
Continuity mistake: The amount of snow accumulated on the chalet's wraparound porch railing was higher when looking outside compared to external views, such as when Emily was outside talking on the phone with Becca. (00:13:35 - 00:15:05)
Continuity mistake: The amount of pain pills in the bottle was inconsistent and it isn't clear how Carlo could have managed to remove the safety cap (apparently without using his injured arm). After Carlo poured about 12 pills onto the counter, the bottle later looked just as full (if not fuller) as it was. (00:28:03 - 00:28:35)
Continuity mistake: At the start of the movie when the guys are arguing on the porch the guy on the ground suddenly appears to be off the porch in the next shot on the ground.
Continuity mistake: The car behind Julius is at various distances. It is closer when the camera is on Julius than when it switches (back and forth) to his passenger, Margot. (00:02:39)
Continuity mistake: In the wide view of "Quick Stop Groceries," there is a yellow pole directly in front of and almost touching the far right side of the van's front bumper, but the pole isn't there in the rear view of the van. (00:01:43)
Continuity mistake: When the roasted marshmallow landed on the back of the camper's head, it was relatively flat and spanned from the middle top to the right top/side with some charred marshmallow splattered almost to the center of the man's head. After a camera shift, the marshmallow was sticking up near the right top of the man's head, was shaped like a whole marshmallow, and was still largely white instead of mostly black/charred. Continuity mistake: At various points throughout the movie, the position of the lamp on the end table (to Charlie's left where he usually sits on the couch) changes, from the base being in the back corner, to mid-way along the chair's arm, to being centered along the rear edge, to near the middle of the table, etc. As the lamp's position changes, the other objects on the table also change. Suggested correction: "At various points throughout the movie" so he moved his lamp. If the shots aren't consecutive (screenshot, please) this is not a continuity error.
Continuity mistake: After Sophie got into bed (with her arms under the blanket), the first and last shots showed her long curly hair sprawled over her left chest area. In-between shots showed her hair hanging along the side of her left shoulder. (00:24:30)
Continuity mistake: After Ross is shot, he lies on the pavement with his head to the left of the white line, but later his head is to the right of the white line. (His body would not be rotated 180° by police.) His head is on the white line in between this discrepancy. (00:06:38 - 00:09:30)
