Continuity mistake: Travis rearranged a photo on the desk, setting it partially in front of the box and the two pictures were a few inches apart. The next wide view showed the corner of the picture almost aligned with the box or slightly behind it and the two pictures were now almost touching. Continuity mistake: Numerous times throughout the movie (largely over the course of one day) Abby's hair was inconsistent within and between scenes. It ranged from neatly combed straight back with no obvious part and a low or higher bun to relatively neatly combed back but angled to the right with a slight or obvious part to messy and frizzy, sometimes with strands dangling in the right front or behind her left ear. With all the "action" going on, she did not have the time or opportunity to comb or fix her hair.
Continuity mistake: During the time Sean and Kunle are talking to Bianca after class, Sean is wearing two gold necklaces but only the longer one is showing a few times. (00:04:30 - 00:05:41)
Continuity mistake: Henry's scarf is hanging down loosely and appears to be pinned together near the bottom (by his chest). While Henry is running outside, his scarf goes from loose around the front to having an obvious knot over his right shoulder. (00:02:16 - 00:02:43)
Continuity mistake: When Captain Collins sits down at the computer console early in the film, the mouthpiece on her headset constantly changes position.
Continuity mistake: Ishmael shots Karim in the right side of the stomach, but the wound moves to the left side.
Continuity mistake: In the very last scene when Bo is hugging Stanley before the game it reveals his "Never Back Down" tree tattoo on his lower left arm. Yet right after in the closing credits and presumably depicting that same game it showed his left arm after taking a shot with the tattoo removed.
Continuity mistake: When ladybug is sitting at the table with Lemon, and they start fighting over the pistol, Brad Pitt drops the gun's magazine out of the tub onto the floor. In the subsequent shuffle you see the bottom of the gun with a magazine still in it and immediately cut to it on the floor. The next shot after he grabs the magazine off the floor you see the gun with no magazine. (00:40:20)
Continuity mistake: The angle (from diagonal to more horizontal) and appearance (from bloody and jagged to a continuous thin line) of the cut on Zoe's forehead changed within a short amount of time. (00:47:16 - 00:47:43)
Continuity mistake: Will was not wearing sunglasses when he walked up to Knuckles' fence to look between the boards. When the camera shifted to the opposite side of the fence, the person looking through the boards (presumably, Will) was wearing sunglasses. When the camera shifted back to the side of the fence Will was on, Will was not wearing sunglasses. (00:40:15)
Continuity mistake: In the wide view of "Quick Stop Groceries," there is a yellow pole directly in front of and almost touching the far right side of the van's front bumper, but the pole isn't there in the rear view of the van. (00:01:43)
Continuity mistake: On the beach at Lyme, while talking with Captain Harville, his jacket can be seen buttoned properly. The scene cuts to the other characters with Wentworth, and when it returns, Harville's jacket button has come loose. The scene cuts again and is fixed on return.
Continuity mistake: Various views of Chase's dead body were inconsistent. From the two boys' perspective, Chase's body was at the edge of the water and the sun was shining on the water and along/near his left leg. An aerial view showed a canopy of tree leaves over the area, meaning the sunshine would not be able to penetrate the thick tree cover. From the sheriff's view in the tower (unobstructed by trees), the position of Chase's body relative to the fire tower was too far away and at the wrong angle. (00:03:00 - 00:04:08)
Continuity mistake: Before Abraham stands near the wooden cross, there are piles of wood and a blue/white water hydrant (?) behind him. When he stands and takes a step, only one pile of wood is visible. After he takes a few diagonal steps behind the cross and turns around, he is standing in front of his house that was not there. Continuity mistake: The tattoo artist is almost finished drawing the American flag on the boy's upper right arm. After he wipes it and there's a quick camera shift, the tattoo is less complete - the stripes are bloodier, more jagged, and of unequal width like they were earlier. (00:14:31)
Continuity mistake: The night Krypto loses his powers, he gets a black eye on his left eye. However, the next day, the wound is gone.
Continuity mistake: When the roasted marshmallow landed on the back of the camper's head, it was relatively flat and spanned from the middle top to the right top/side with some charred marshmallow splattered almost to the center of the man's head. After a camera shift, the marshmallow was sticking up near the right top of the man's head, was shaped like a whole marshmallow, and was still largely white instead of mostly black/charred. Continuity mistake: A full moon was shown, but it was quite dark even around the campfire. When the man came and said there was something in the field, the sky was black. About a minute later when Cameron tripped/fell, there was (moon) light near the ground. (00:16:09 - 00:18:19)
Continuity mistake: At breakfast, Robert's monitor is behind his right shoulder until Paul comes to visit and then the monitor is on the other side of the bed (behind Robert's left shoulder). (00:25:10)
Continuity mistake: Laura's hair was (flipped) above her shoulders when she brought Cody to school. When she was in her car, her hair was much longer, going at least a couple or few inches down her back. Laura's hair was back to its shorter length (above-the-shoulders) when she got to the typing room at work. (00:15:44 - 00:16:06)
