Continuity mistake: The placement and angle of the "Not Friendly" sign on the dead security guard's upper right body changes from when Elvis is looking at him down the hall to when Elvis is kneeling next to his body. Initially, the words are perpendicular to the guard's right leg (angled outward to the right), then to the top of his right shoulder. (00:44:45 - 00:45:19)
Continuity mistake: The street view/scenery when Emily is walking down the road outside of her new apartment becomes quite different when the camera shifts to an aerial view (showing more cars and buildings, fewer trees along the right side of the road, and mountains in the distance instead of the nearby ocean). Continuity mistake: The front wheel on Brian's "flying cuckoo clock" (adult tricycle with attachments) is parallel to the rear tires while he is behind the bike trying to start the makeshift "motor." Brian is always shown in back of the bike, but the front tire is angled to the left after the third camera shift and is at a greater angle after he gets the motor running. (The force from Brian spinning the motor may have caused minor shaking of the bike, but wasn't enough to turn the front wheel). (00:04:30)
Continuity mistake: When Maren first sees Lee, she finishes putting some small tampon boxes in her bag. She has her right hand on her bag, but when the shot cuts, her right hand is against the shelf. (00:33:15)
Continuity mistake: When the women's legs are shown walking from the smoke, the one wearing a blue skirt and white socks has her left sock fall down in the scene. In the next scene, it is back up again.
Continuity mistake: At the restaurant, Dr. April's bangs usually have several gaps in them across her forehead (similar to a sawtooth pattern), but are more evenly combed at times. The movement of her head does not change the sawtooth pattern as she turns, so is not enough to explain the variation. (00:05:00 - 00:05:30)
Continuity mistake: The car behind Julius is at various distances. It is closer when the camera is on Julius than when it switches (back and forth) to his passenger, Margot. (00:02:39)
Continuity mistake: When the waiter puts Lily's "Cleopatra Special" plate in front of her, the long, white, curved ingredients (bean sprouts?) stick upward across her plate, but none are visible or sticking out in alternating views of her plate. (00:08:30)
Continuity mistake: Harry sets his pen off the left side of his notepad and has both of his hands to the right of it, but the pen is on top of the notepad when the camera shifts. (00:06:40)
Continuity mistake: The wrapped Christmas presents set near the airplane's tail are stacked differently in the before and after views of Ben's arms in the storage compartment. The gold package that is on top is missing and the larger green package on the ground is angled away from the others. Later, the green package is aligned with and touching the lower gold package. Continuity mistake: Virgil is speared on the left side of his body by a dead tree limb, but after he crawls to the gold and turns onto his back, the spear is on his right side. He eventually pulls it out of his left side. (01:16:28 - 01:17:38)
Continuity mistake: Kol shouts, "Stop the car!" Adam slams on the brakes from a cruising speed, yet miraculously, the car is bumper-to-bumper with a parked red SUV. When Kol gets back into Adam's car, the red SUV should be visible. However, outside of the windshield, there is a white blur. A car drives close by on a perpendicular road that wasn't there before Adam stopped. (00:15:48 - 00:16:20)
Continuity mistake: Although Adeline has her mouth to the ground (eating grass), her head is suddenly upright and still in a few views of Kay or Terry. The most noticeable sudden change in Adeline's head being upright occurs right after Adam hugs her. (00:34:34 - 00:35:00)
Continuity mistake: After Ross is shot, he lies on the pavement with his head to the left of the white line, but later his head is to the right of the white line. (His body would not be rotated 180° by police.) His head is on the white line in between this discrepancy. (00:06:38 - 00:09:30)
Continuity mistake: As the SUV pulls off alongside the curb, there are trees with orange-coloured leaves on both sides, but the leaves are green when the ladies are talking in the stopped SUV. The leaves from the tree that is about 15' from the curb are right outside the passenger-side windows. (00:10:15)
Continuity mistake: The striped pillow to the left of the screen (behind Nick's beer) is upright, but lowers in the next view. Nobody is near the pillow to move it or push it down. (00:12:36)
Continuity mistake: In the first view of Rockit holding the surfboard with both hands, he has a loop of hair midway along his center-parted hair, but the loop is gone in the next front view of him. (00:11:14)
Continuity mistake: Outside the warehouse door/metal gate, Shae's flashlight produces a bright circle of light onto the pavement because it is a dimly-lit area. She uses her flashlight to look under the gate, which is open about 2' at the bottom. After she rolls under the gate, the pavement now behind her is in the sunlight. (00:42:15)
Continuity mistake: The angle of the desk lamp's shade changes as Matt sits on his bed, suddenly angling towards the camera. The shade is back to facing downward but angles outward again a couple of times. (00:05:18 - 00:06:24)
