Stupidity: The humans return to Pandora knowing how things went last time...and still haven't improved the cockpit glass to be able to resist a bow and arrow?
Stupidity: Gargantos neutralizes Strange's cape tossing a motorbike at it. Hilariously enough, someone was riding the motorbike and Gargantos knocked him off the bike. The streets were littered with all sorts of wreckage; the biker who made a conscious effort to drive around all sorts of obstacles literally blocking 90% of the roads and ride right at the enormous monster in plain sight must have been in a hell of a rush.
Stupidity: After Vincent saw the photo of Alex's prescription bottle and pills, he asked what they were. Danny Mora replied, "Didn't match anything on our database so the lab's running chem tests... The lab's on it. We [police department] may not be fancy, Vincent, but we ain't dumb." The prescription bottle label would contain the drug's name and dispensing pharmacy. A quick call to the pharmacy would have given him the information that the lab would take much longer to provide. (00:48:28)
Stupidity: The protagonist is wearing normal boots atop a spacesuit while being on a moon mission. (01:37:11)
Stupidity: When Maverick dives the F-14 into the hills to confuse the targeting system on the enemy aircraft, the enemy aircraft fires its guns, and the F-14 fires off flares in response...waste of flares that they could have used after the 3rd enemy fires a missile at them.
Suggested correction: Huh? This didn't happen at all in the film.
Stupidity: After Candace manages to break free from being tied to a chair, she runs down the hallway while still untangling the rope around her hands. When she finally removes the rope (after turning into one of many rooms), she throws it onto the floor, thereby giving away the direction in which she fled. Pettis soon finds the discarded rope and is able to recapture Candace. (01:00:10 - 01:01:10)
Stupidity: Instead of Ray freeing himself before the Hangman comes to get him out of the bed of the truck or using his knife to stab the Hangman before he gets hung, Ray lets the Hangman hang him from a tree and knock over the ladder to strangle him. Ray dangles for almost a minute until he fakes his death and drops a fake Rolex, planning on slashing the Hangman's throat when he comes to pick up the watch. Ray, still dangling with the rope around his neck and a hood over his head, is also able to talk. (00:00:47 - 00:02:36)
Stupidity: Once Owen and Kayla have left the crashed plane, Kayla hands Owen a tracking device. She reveals that the ejector seat was installed with a beacon, and that the device is used to track the beacon. However, Kayla mentioned earlier that she only ever intended to use the ejector seat for herself, so there was no real reason for her to have installed the ejector seat with a beacon, unless she planned on tracking herself.
Stupidity: Despite being wanted for murder, escaping jail, and having his face plastered on the front page of the newspaper, Morbius meets Martine in a public diner and doesn't even make an attempt to conceal his identity while they are seated. Even shaving off his beard and cutting his hair short would have gone a long way in making him more unrecognizable.
Stupidity: After an explosion blew through a door which knocked him over, Manson was able to get up and continue walking from room to room searching. When Manson got into the kitchen, he could at least somewhat see that the inside of the microwave was lit up and could hear a crackling sound, but he continued walking toward the microwave until it exploded. (00:05:55 - 00:07:09)
Stupidity: Officer Malloy was trying to fix reception problems on a small TV at the police station while Lt. Stevenson was listening to Gerri Tauver reporting on the explosion that happened in Suffolk County. Stevenson told Malloy, "Just play with the wire... I need to fix this. I need to find out what's going on from the explosion this morning." A police lieutenant could have easily called the fire department chief or officers on the scene to get first-hand information, not depend on a TV news report. (00:09:09 - 00:10:54)
Stupidity: Grace (?) came out of hiding holding a fire extinguisher upside-down as though prepared to use the fire extinguisher to whack any Allosaurus that approached her. Actually spraying the dinosaur's eyes with the chemical contents of the fire extinguisher - and from a greater distance by using the hose - would have been much more practical and effective as a repellent and thereby less likely to result in getting maimed/killed. (She did not use the fire extinguisher at all). (01:02:20)
Stupidity: Mia said, "Look, there's a clinic. Are they open?" The Thief replied, "I don't know, but we gotta get off the road" (because Temple and his goons were chasing them and not far behind). The thief parked in front of the clinic, which was along the road, and he and Mia went into the clinic. (00:39:38)
Stupidity: Catherine, wearing a dress and coat, was outside in the snow chopping firewood while her teenaged son sat nearby playing video games on his tablet. This could also fall under "plot hole" because having the son close by made him available to try to help his mom when Pryce attacked her (with the intent to rape). (00:36:40 - 00:37:15)
Stupidity: After the cloth was lit, the "Santa" could have easily thrown the Molotov Cocktail far enough to ignite the Christmas tree but, instead, casually walked to get closer (within several feet) before tossing it. This may have been for dramatic purposes, but carrying a lit rag (part of a Molotov Cocktail) unnecessarily increases the risk of getting a burn injury (which can be quite serious/painful). (00:02:35)
