Continuity mistake: SPOILERS: During the final scene, when Samuel L. Jackson is "puppeted" to lift his arm up to make it look like he's pointing a gun at the SWAT team, the number of laser-sights visible on his chest changes between cuts. In the wide-shot, there's only three, but when it punches into a close-up, suddenly there are five.
Continuity mistake: In the intro, the woman shimmies off her shirt, which pools on the bathroom floor. She finds the obligatory corpse, screams, and gone is the shirt from the floor. (00:02:00)
Continuity mistake: When Cecilia is talking to Adrian at the dinner table towards the end of the movie, the food on the plate is situated differently from shot to shot as they converse.
Continuity mistake: The amount of rain on The Man's shirt is relatively light when he reaches the doorstep but his shirt was saturated before he even started going up the sidewalk. He was in the house for a couple of minutes to kill the two people and set the house on fire (not enough time for his shirt to dry) yet his shirt was almost dry when he exited the house. The Man's shirt got soaked again on his way to his truck. The shirt looks dark blue when saturated with rain but light blue when it is dry. (00:02:53 - 00:03:51)
Continuity mistake: When Marcus sees his baby grandson, a nurse in the background is picking up a white diaper. In the close-up the diaper is now blue.
Continuity mistake: When the girls are standing on the beach with the flares to guide in the German aircraft they are in two rows just a few metres apart. The view from the aircraft shows them much further apart, wide enough for the aircraft to land between them.
Continuity mistake: The characters are on a tile floor that has one yellow tile visible among the black and white tiles. The next shot they're in a different spot on the floor with two yellow tiles visible. (01:22:10)

Continuity mistake: The amount and location of dirt on Christine's face is inconsistent, ranging from being very thick and obvious to barely visible, if at all. Sometimes it extends down her neck on the right side. When her hair covers most of her face, no dirt is visible - until she turns her head and the hair is away from her face. Continuity mistake: James lit the cigarette he gave Amanda, and she was shown taking one puff. Amanda tells part of the Empty Man story and the ashes on the tip of her cigarette are the same when she takes a second puff. Continuity mistake: After PJ lets Officers John and Julia inside, there are a few continuity errors with the box on the table and the lamp's cord. Initially, the white evidence box is flush with the counter and the front side (with a hand slot) is facing the lower right corner of the screen. Later, the box is closer to the edge and the front side has been turned about 45°. The lamp's cord is sometimes flat on the table but other times there are two upward loops. Continuity mistake: In the locker room, an adjacent locker is closed then open with a yellow shirt hanging inside. Also, Ali takes a uniform jacket out of the locker Borz said she could use and holds it in front of her while they were talking.
