Plot hole: *SPOILER* Calvin's twin sister and mother were killed years earlier in an automobile accident. Calvin kept going to his doctor with "new symptoms", insisting there was something physically wrong. Dr. Collins told Calvin, "Your health issues aren't physical. I thought sending you to that support group would give you a better perspective." The doctor should have referred Calvin to a psychiatrist for a diagnosis and, if appropriate, the psychiatrist would recommend therapy or a support group. (00:10:15)
Visible crew/equipment: When Zoe walks into Anderson's office and tells him she's meeting Maya at the apartment, just as Zoe says, "Uh oh," there's a visible blue T-mark taped to the floor. (00:49:05)

Continuity mistake: Constance is hugging Mary. In the close up shot, Constance is wearing a round sky blue earring. In the long shot, the earring is not seen even though her ear is fully facing the camera. (00:27:45)
Revealing mistake: When the doctor with the satellite phone runs to the car, he is being chased by another member of the team, and of course the graboid. Look ahead of the graboid. The path it will take is visible.
Continuity mistake: In her temper tantrum, the Empress throws various dishes and cups to the ground. In her messy motion though, some items do not fly off the table and a golden fruit bowl happens to just spin around and stay on. It is gone next. (00:02:45)
Revealing mistake: Davey at the beginning of the movie is looking at the newspaper he's delivering to Mr. Wayne Mackey. Just from a glance at the page you can tell that something is off, since the article supposedly about a missing boy appears to be written entirely in first person. Upon closer inspection, turns out that it's filler text from chapter IV of Robert Louis Stevenson' s "Treasure Island". (00:01:30)
Revealing mistake: The tapered half of the baseball bat was leaning against the coffee table at about a 60° angle, but after Dave said, "The bat?" the camera showed it sticking straight up from (perpendicular to) the floor. Dave's lower body is then shown walking past the bat (which reaches to his waist) and stopping, at which point the bat fades into his leg until it is almost invisible. The next view of the bat shows it leaning against the coffee table again, but the coffee table is closer to the couch. (00:09:08)
Factual error: Three men are having beer one night in the woods. One man says he has a picture of a girl he took the previous Tuesday. When he goes to get the picture (which would be on his phone), he complains that he can't show it because there is no signal reception. You don't need a signal to show a photo you took on your phone. Continuity mistake: Abby's annoying boss puts her friend to work giving him a box to carry to his car. In a rather blatant continuity mistake, the penguin is facing opposite directions between shots. (00:03:15)
Continuity mistake: When Rick and Kirsten are at the game, just after they shout at one of the players, Kirsten drinks from her cup, but in the next shot, the cup is suddenly back in the armrest holster. (00:33:40)
Other mistake: The protagonist finds out that his wife is cheating on him, and decides to try to dial the killer. We see his phone number, it's 328 241... Later on, after visiting his brother's parish, he tries to contact his 'frenemy' again but the number now is 386 909.etc. He can't have changed number in that short while (and the protagonist wouldn't know anyway). Factual error: When Connor is describing his 1970 LT-1 Corvette,, he says "Holley and Rochester Quadrajet carb." Those are two different brands of carburetors. (01:05:39)
Continuity mistake: When his wife has to answer the door for the sheriff while browsing her laptop for info on the dead woman when returning to her room she is frantically trying to call Ray. In the first clip of her pacing on the phone the laptop is missing from the table. Seconds later from another angle the laptop magically reappears open and in the place she left it.
Deliberate mistake: Luke had a box of T-shirts he designed and Faith reached into the box and removed the top T-shirt. Without looking at the size or even holding it up to her body to see if the T - shirt would fit, Faith asked, "How much?" Luke replied, "Ten" [dollars]. Faith reached into her pocket, pulled out a wad of bills and handed it to Luke without counting the money. Faith put the T-shirt on over her top and it was a "perfect fit." (00:03:55 - 00:04:37)
