Trivia: When Lorraine jumps out of the window using the hose the policeman at the other end lets out a "Wilhelm scream" just as he is dragged across the floor.
Trivia: At the start of the film when Baby is walking with the coffees, the words to the song he is listening to are often seen on the walls as graffiti and on lamp posts as posters as he walks past.
Trivia: When Hobbs gets sent to prison, Shaw calls him Hercules. Dwayne Johnson played Hercules in a previous movie.

Trivia: Jared Leto asked to wear opaque contact lenses in order to play the blind Niander Wallace. He wanted to lose his ability to see to get into character.
Trivia: Lucas told Mr. Butler that his mother died when he was very young. Assuming this is true, when his dad asked him, "Is there anything you want me to tell your mother for you?" his father was planning on committing suicide or believed Lucas was going to kill him. (The empty prescription bottles suggest suicide). (01:12:48)
Trivia: The trailer for the film famously used 50 Cent's song "In Da Club" as Tree's birthday ringtone. However, the song is not present in the final film. Director Christopher Landon confirmed in a 2022 commentary track for the film's 4K release that they originally wanted to use the song in the film, but couldn't afford the rights due to their tight budget. But annoyingly, the adverting budget (which is separate from the film budget) meant they could afford to use it... but only in the trailers.
Trivia: In the final scene, Augustus Gibbons' glasses have one lens darkened - a nod to actor Samuel L. Jackson's role as the one-eyed Nick Fury in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Trivia: Emily Rose is only nine years older than Emily Tennant, who plays her daughter.
Trivia: Keanu Reeves remained friends with Laurence Fishburne after the original "Matrix" trilogy concluded. In less than 24 hours, Fishburne responded by saying "I'm in!"
Trivia: Although relatively rare and quickly dwindling, there are still some (100,000?) functional payphones (coin-operated or credit card) in the US, including in New York. It is doubtful there would be one outside of Henry's elementary school, but pay phones are typically near public buildings.
Trivia: This was the final theatrical movie directed by Michael Apted before his death in 2021.
Trivia: Charlie was trying to find Laura's killer during the Summer of 1969. The night the officer brought Charlie home, there was a Christmas tree, decorations (tinsel/garland), and Christmas greeting cards hung on the wall in his house. In Australia, Christmas is celebrated in the summer because December, January, and February are summer months south of the equator. Christmas is still celebrated on December 25th - the date, not the "season", is what matters. (00:47:00)
Trivia: The film was completed and given an original intended January, 2015 release date as indicated by an early teaser-trailer. It was then pushed back more than a year to April, 2016. Due to negative test-screenings, reshoots and the sale of one of the production companies, it was repeatedly pushed about on the release schedule until it landed on a January, 2017 release - two years after its original planned release. However, just a few weeks before release, it was once again pushed back to June, 2017. And again, just a few weeks before its planned release in June, 2017, it was shelved indefinitely. It was eventually released October, 2017 as a free-to-watch title on Google Play for Android devices before a limited theatrical exhibition later in the month.
