Revealing mistake: When Walter is floating in the water, his shoulders are well out of the water because Ben Stiller was wearing a lifejacket under his shirt. In real life, he'd be up to his neck and have trouble keeping his head above water.

Revealing mistake: Montana gets a call from Sam who is informing her about Damon Diesel. The camera shows Montana rushing up to the phone which is on the table. When the phone rings it is not on the call screen, it is on the contact page. Shortly after Montana's mother comes and leaves Montana glances at the clock and hurries to call Sam. She raises her phone to her cheek and ask "Sam what's the flight number?" If you look closely, the call is not actually being made as her cheek is pressing different icons on her phone. Revealing mistake: Toward the beginning of the movie when they go to Pricemart, you can see Benny's written across the back wall in neon red letters. Benny's was the real store where the scene was filmed. (00:07:20)

Revealing mistake: Close-up views of Billy riding Allie on the mini-bike (trying to escape the men following in the Jeep) did not include the lower half of the mini-bike; they were probably on a platform/trailer being pulled by a car. A 12-year-old (?) boy would have difficulty steering and maneuvering a mini-bike with a rider similar in size/weight and would have undoubtedly wrecked when he turned his body around from the waist up to look in back of him at the tailing Jeep. Revealing mistake: When Charlie and Lindsay are having sex, almost when they're done, a horse gets into the bed. The horse disappears too soon.
Revealing mistake: In the scene where Jake is about to enter the boat, he is hiding in a trailer so he can sneak up on one of Pope's men. When he jumps up, grabs the pole and stabs him in the chest with it, you can see it doesn't go through his chest, but instead it just goes in between his arm and his rib cage. You have to look closely to see.
Revealing mistake: In the first part of the movie when the dad finds the house in the woods after the car accident, he walks through the door with his daughters in the snow, and just before entering we can see he walks on a fake snow carpet.
Revealing mistake: Robin is running away from company investigators. He comes across a supposed wire link fence. He breaks it with his bare hands, and by the flapping of the open piece you can see it is made with strings not wire.
Revealing mistake: In each one of his scenes, every time you see Captain Fuller you can see that the actor is wearing contacts to make his eyes blue. It's obvious contacts with the brown rings of his natural eyes around them. And contacts were not invented for a long long time after this movie takes place.
Revealing mistake: When Brooke arrives at the camp to drop off Steph and Chrissy, Chrissy leans out of the car and vomits, but you can see that she's not really vomiting, and is using her hand to cover up the special effects tube.
Revealing mistake: After Alex shoots the intruder in the head, killing him, a couple of shots later you can see his chest slightly expanding and contracting, showing that the actor was still breathing.
Revealing mistake: Before Derek punches the side of the wall, you can see the weakened area of the wall before impact. Look at the color difference.
Revealing mistake: Just after Superman and Supergirl have their talk about him going after Brainiac, it cuts to Lois at the Daily Planet on her laptop. There is a close up and you can see her fingers on the keyboard. She is typing really fast, but the animation shows her fingers just hitting the same 3 or 4 keys over and over again. (00:20:05)
Revealing mistake: A reporter is interviewing Jobs using an old analogue tape deck recorder - the reporter says he's recording, and a red light is on the hand held tape deck unit, but the tape and its spools are not spinning - the unit is not switched on. (00:53:00)
