In a wide angle, he is standing next to a pillar with leaves around the pillar, but in a sudden close-up the leaves around the pillar have vanished. (00:04:40)
Continuity mistake: At the start, the kid drops his popcorn and we see a shot of it right next to his foot. A couple of shots then follow but he's always visible, not moving. We then see a wide shot and he's further from the popcorn.
Continuity mistake: After Sergeant Sykes shoots Jack, Jack falls to the ground and you see the bullet roll off his protective vest and lay on the floor. Moments later when they pick Jack up, the bullet has vanished off the floor. (00:58:50 - 00:59:40)
Continuity mistake: In the field chase scene, the Camaro's driver side mirror is ripped off when the Corvette rams it sideways. It remains off for several shots, then it returns by scene end and stays on through the movie's end. (01:20:10)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Ethan Hawke is talking through the safety glass in the barricade to the polite leader of the gang outside, the leader shoots the loud-mouth guy standing to the right of him, using the pistol in his left hand across his chest. Continuity mistake: In the scene where grandpa is attempting to ship his grandson to his dad in a cardboard box, grandpa says to the two ladies who are objecting to his requests "well give me a pen, and we'll write FRAGILE on it." Continuity mistake: Emily Smith-Dungy just kicked her bags in the snow. Her neighbour and schoolmate Kat drives by and offers her a ride home. Continuity mistake: Effie motions Katniss down the steps of her house and her arms are outspread. Camera cuts to a view in front of Katniss and Effie now has her hands on Katniss' back. (00:12:20)
Continuity mistake: After the rope keeping Ryan and Matt tethered together is snapped, Ryan continues drifting downwards towards the Earth. The shot continues panning until the camera stops with the camera high up. As she falls, the ropes from the parachute around the satellite are on Ryan's right. In the next shot from low down, the ropes from the parachute have moved to Ryan's left. She was only shown spiralling downwards throughout the shot, so her position next to the ropes would not have been affected. (00:30:25)
