Continuity mistake: In the scene where they left 'the cottages' in the red Volvo estate to go to the town to look into the travel agent window, the car first displayed a G registration plate but subsequently changed to an A registration.
Continuity mistake: In Joanna's bridal shower she gives a necklace to Marni. When Marni is talking to her nanny the necklace disappear between shots.
Continuity mistake: During the scenes at his farm when Stan has his shirt off, he is bare chested. Later during the scene in Zoey's bedroom, when Stan is removing his shirt, he has a hairy chest.
Continuity mistake: When Abby slaughters the bullies, we see most of the scene from Owen's underwater point of view. First, a decapitated head floats down, leaving a trail of blood. Then, more dismembered bodies splash into the water. We get the sense that the pool water around Owen should be pretty bloody. Yet, when he surfaces, the water around him is completely clear, with no evidence of any blood or bodies.
Continuity mistake: When Becky is having lunch in the park with her workmates, they all turn to look at Adam and the blonde workmate is holding her drink in the air. In the next shot, however, the drink is flat on the table, with no time to change.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Cindy is about to have her abortion, we see a shot of the nurse holding her hand and the nurse has on purple latex gloves. In the next shot, the nurse is holding her hand without gloves.
Continuity mistake: When Brown is talking to Michies Mother about the Final jam, Brown goes round to his desk. If you look at the computer when he does this, it is pointing slightly to the left. Then he goes round to the front of the desk and the computer is pointing to the right before anyone has the chance to move it.
Continuity mistake: When Charlie is coaching Sam in baseball at the beginning of the movie, they get on the road and he beckons to him. In the first cut, people in the background change (most obviously, a guy is crossing the street behind him, but vanishes in the second shot). (00:07:45)
Continuity mistake: When Stern is cutting Gutterman loose and they're at Rachel's desk, Gutterman is right behind Stern, close enough to touch the desk and sets his hat on it. The shot changes and Gutterman is now further away, not even in arm's reach of the desk.
Continuity mistake: When Charlotte Gainsborough has a meltdown telling the younger kid to remove the toy guitar, the kid is holding the toy differently between shots. (00:17:20)
Continuity mistake: The silver SUV in which John, Laura and their son are escaping, changes several times from one to two inspection decals on its windshield. Firstly there are two decals reading 9_10. Right after Laura tries to step out of the running car and they almost collide with a truck, the SUV comes to a full stop and there is a single decal reading 5_10. When they are at the checkpoint leaving Pennsylvania we go again to two decals. Additionally, when two decals are present, they sometimes read 9_10 and some other times 11_10. (01:38:00 - 01:43:20)
