Visible crew/equipment: In one shot at the end, when all the surrogates fall to the ground, you can see a few crew members (one with a white megaphone) standing in the street in the upper left corner. (01:19:55)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where the couples first attend Couples Skill Building, they are asked to line up on the beach. While walking off the deck and onto the beach, Cynthia removes her shoes (high heeled wedges), however the next shot when they are on the beach shows Cynthia wearing her shoes again. (00:34:00)
Other mistake: In a scene toward the end of the film, there is a shot showing a calendar with the month March 1998. It shows Friday as being the 13th (reference to Philip Morris' birthday), but Saturday appears as the 15th. Did the actual month of March, 1998 not contain the 14th?
Revealing mistake: When Sara is shaving her hair in front of the mirror, you can see the "join" between her forehead and the "skull cap" she's wearing under her hair.
Audio problem: At the end of the movie, when Cassie says, "This case is the key to bringing down Division", her mouth doesn't move at all.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning, when Lucy is a guest at Blanche's house for the meatloaf dinner, notice what everyone is wearing, the table, etc. At the end of the movie there is another meatloaf dinner scene at Blanche's house and every single thing is identical to the first meatloaf dinner scene. Everyone is wearing the exact same clothing, eating the exact same food, drinking the exact same beer and wine, etc, and the only difference is Lucy being out of the picture with an empty place setting at the table. Other mistake: In the scene with the plane that is attacked by the mega shark and subsequently crashes, the camera focuses on one character in particular- a man who states he is "getting married in a few days". It is assumed when the plane crashes that everyone on board dies, yet in the very next scene this man walks behind Deborah Gibson's character as an extra.
Continuity mistake: When Max is going to get K.W. just prior to the Dirt Clod War, his hood is down. When he returns to Carol and Douglas, (just prior to being hit with a dirt clod) his hood is up.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Avery and Kayla confront Lina at her locker, as the shots change, so does Lina's position. She goes from leaning against the locker, to standing close it. Her arms are also crossed/uncrossed as the shots change.
Continuity mistake: 21 minutes and 30 seconds into the film, Dorian enters Cibyl's dressing room holding his hat and what seems to be the program to the performance (that he has just watched with Cibyl in it). A few seconds later, Dorian has only his hat. Seconds later, he has the piece of paper and his hat in his hand again. Dorian did not sit down anywhere or go near anything that he could have put the "program" down on to be picked up again a few seconds later. (00:21:30 - 00:22:00)
Character mistake: When Bower is banging on Payton's hyper sleep chamber from the outside it says Payton, but when it cuts to looking from inside out, it says Bower.
Continuity mistake: When Vicki is talking to Dan in the diner, the drink on the table is light in some shots, then it is darker, then light and vice versa.
Continuity mistake: During the volleyball game scene, after Sara has been put into the game, when the shot goes to the sideline she is still there too. (01:03:50)
Revealing mistake: When Vang and Chev are running and about to jump the fence into the power station, look in the fence and you can see the handy foot holds that the actors use to go over the fence.
Continuity mistake: When Shawn meets Harvey in the restaurant, he brings in the box of umbrellas which is soaking wet from the rain. When he leaves, the rain has stopped and the box changes from being soaking wet to completely dry to wet again for the rest of the scene.
Revealing mistake: During crash scenes towards the end the local traffic in the background is driving on the left hand side of the road (filmed at Darling Point, Wynnum, Australia) even though the movie is set in the USA.
Continuity mistake: When Amelia is meeting with Fred Noonan at the open aired restaurant in New Guinea, right when Amelia sits down, the waitress repeatedly sets a glass of water in front of Amelia. It happens 3 times.
Continuity mistake: When he has the car accident, the blood splat from hitting the bird goes from being an eight inch wide bright red smear of just "blood" that is low and centered directly in front of the driver to a four inch circle with chunks that is high and to the left. It is also totally missing while the car is viewed from above before hitting the water. (01:01:15)
Deliberate mistake: When Bender wins the poker tournament with five kings, Leo Wong holds up five fingers (on one hand). But all the characters in Futurama only have four fingers on each hand. (Confirmed on DVD commentary).
Factual error: When the men are playing snooker, they are using modern plastic tipped pool cues.
