Other mistake: When Ann Darrow is awaiting sacrifice to Kong she is hanging from tight thick ropes around her wrists. However, when Kong shows up he just grabs her and tears her from the plinth. Either the ropes should still be around her arms having been torn from their mounts, or her arms should have been ripped off.
Other mistake: In the library scene, the guards are harassing the inmate by throwing books on the floor to make him pick them up.One of the guards drops a book on the floor to tell the inmate that he missed one but when he comes back to pick it up he actually picks up 3 books. (00:48:50)
Other mistake: During the Baer and Braddock fight, when the camera angle is from far away, you can see that Braddock is not actually connecting with his punches on Baer. Yet Baer still reacts like he's been hit. This also true with Baer hitting Braddock when the camera is showing the fight from far away in the stands.
Other mistake: When Balian talks to God on the hill where Jesus died, after he says his line, the next shot is him sitting down overlooking the empty valley below. A white light travels from right to left going 45-50 mph. Nothing back then could go that fast, and even if anything could, a torch is yellow and red, and even if it could be white, no rider can ride that fast with a white-light torch and keep it from going out - leaving us to assume it's a car.
Other mistake: The photo of Silvia and her brother, walking on the road with guns in Africa, looks like a composite and is obviously a fake made up for the movie. The images of those two look flatter and have slightly different contrast compared to people in the rest of the photo; separate photos of them have been cut and pasted onto the road photo.
Other mistake: The exact same background shot of a Ventura bomber followed by two single-engine planes flying left to right is used three times during the film, twice at the beginning as they are planning the mission on the beach and then once at the end when the raid is over.
Other mistake: In the credits at the end of the film "Editing" is spelled "Edting."
Other mistake: When Owen first meets Dodger, and asks if its that obvious he's a transfer, she tells him "It's a small school, word travels fast." During a flashback to this scene at the end of the movie she says "word spreads fast," instead.
Other mistake: During the opening credits (right after the fish chopping shot) two bearded gentlemen meet in the street. As they part, Lord Barkis suddenly appears behind them. But where did he come from? He didn't walk in from either side, we would have seen him. Nor was there any door he might have come through.
Other mistake: During the scene where the young man gives the headphones to the girl, the placement of the headphones changes several times at different points of view. (00:27:10)
Other mistake: During the film Ethan Hawke's pills are talked about between him and his evaluator. When you finally see him open his pill container, it is clear that the pills are actually Ice Breakers breath mints. Other mistake: Jack Twist's Thanksgiving dinner has a TV clip from a 1977 American Football game which cuts to Ennis Del Mar's Thanksgiving dinner which has an ice skating competition from 1980 playing on the TV, but then later the charity dinner where Jack Twist meets his soon-to-be lover has a banner saying 1978, two years before the previous Thanksgiving scene with Ennis Del Mar.
Other mistake: When the USA soccer world cup team is practicing in New York, on some field in Long Island, in several shots you can see the steeple for Union Avenue Christian Church, which is actually located in Saint Louis, Missouri.
Other mistake: In the fight after Matt gets ambushed, as the gangs collide, Matt gets knocked down, yet in the next shot he gets knocked down again. How would he be able to get back up fast enough to get knocked down again straight away?
Other mistake: Although the film's story covers the better part of a year, Dakota Fanning's permanent upper frontal incisor (permanent tooth) is just beginning to emerge. At the end of the film. months and months later, her tooth is still just beginning to emerge.
Other mistake: Near the end when Lindsey goes to Fenway to stop Ben from selling his tickets, she borrows binoculars from someone to find him across the field. She's looking through the wrong end. The way she's holding them, everything would look tiny, and yet she still sees him.
Other mistake: Once Lizzie leaves the castle of Mr. Darcy, skid marks from crew trucks can be identified on the country lane leading away from the castle, where she admired the statues Mr. Darcy had accumulated.
Other mistake: When Domino is narrating introducing Alf as the driver, when everyone loads up to leave Domino gets in the back and Ed in the front, about 5 seconds later they have switched places. (00:31:15)
Other mistake: Otis picks up a DVD case and asks if he can take it home to look at. While waiting for an answer he opens the jewel case and even moves the inside flap (as would be in a case with more than one DVD).
