Continuity mistake: At the fair when Isabelle goes to give Suzanna the baby, she actually hands it to her in one shot, but in the next (a split second) Suzanne shows no sign as if the baby ever left Isabelle's hand. (01:38:24)
Continuity mistake: After Leon rescues Mathilda from the SWAT team and dodges the snipers, he shoots out a ventilation fan to make an escape route. He gets off two shots before we see the vent, but when it does we see about 7 bullet holes around the vent. Then the camera goes back to Leon as he continues firing. When the camera switches back, the holes around the vent are different. (01:27:05)
Audio problem: At the end of the movie, when Sergeant Cass is leading the new recruits in Rago's Hamlet march cadence, there is a loud answer from the recruits he is leading. It is quite obvious that not a single recruit is saying anything.
Continuity mistake: When Guy and Dawn are in his apartment and Guy is called into the office, he puts his jacket on. His collar goes from being turned up in the back to folded down from shot to shot.
Continuity mistake: In the scene when Nick Nolte is arguing in the parking lot, he unlocks his car door, but his window is rolled down in the same scene.
Visible crew/equipment: A boom mike is reflected in the car window, when Alex pushes Hugo's car into the lake.
Other mistake: The kids dare each other in a decrepit water tower which is mysterious in a number of ways: 1) Draining the water causes a powerful vortex, but the water level is not going down. 2) No one seems to work the bottom valve, but the vortex comes and goes. 3) It is absolutely impossible that anyone could swim through such a vortex, but Stu does. 4) The rotten roof breaks under the weight of little Billy (the ice-cream excess?) but carries his brother who weighs about 4 times as much. Continuity mistake: In the beginning of the film when Jack Nicholson hits the wolf, his car spins around 180 degrees in the snow, but there are no marks from the wheels in the snow when he approaches the hit wolf. (00:03:25)
Factual error: What on earth is the conductor at the premiere of the 9th doing with a baton? This was not used until around 1849, and the premiere of the 9th is in 1824.
Continuity mistake: In the scene when Rudy is holding a colt python to the hotel owners nose, in the next shot, the gun suddenly changes to a smith and wesson revolver.
Continuity mistake: In the last game of the movie you can see that Ray Mitchell (Angel Player) hits a home run to tie the game. If you look you can see that the home run ball goes over the fence and out of the stadium but then after they change cameras to Ray and then back to where he hit the home run it shows a man with the ball in his hand as if he caught it.
Visible crew/equipment: When Li's sons is doing "pushups" on one finger while flying up into the air you see the wire attached to him. (00:29:50)
Revealing mistake: When Beauty is nursing from his mother, you can see that the foal used was a filly and not a colt when "his" tail swishes from side to side.
Continuity mistake: When Charles finally walks through the vestry door to 'face the enemy' his hair changes from rather messy to nicely combed, then to messy again when he walks through the church. (01:40:55)
Continuity mistake: When Gary Busey is breaking out of prison, there is a part where he runs into a fence and acts disappointed since he cannot get through it. However, if you watch carefully while he is running, in a split second when the fence first comes into view, you'll notice it has doors which are swung open.
Continuity mistake: When Terry and Mike are at the Captain's table on the ship the magazine photographer is seen outside on the deck leaning against a pole waiting to take a pic of Mike with a girl. The camera angle changes to Mike's view of the window looking out and the photographer is now seen looking into the window with his camera trying to avoid Mike seeing him.
Continuity mistake: When Pepper and Sonny arrive at the warehouse on the water for the shootout, Pepper asks Sonny if he wants to lock the truck. When they come back to the truck with Shaw, they immediately open the doors even though they locked the doors earlier. (00:01:25 - 00:13:30)
Continuity mistake: When Tom tells Gail he won't take part in the rafting trip and she sits down on the bed, her hair changes several times between tucked behind the ears and hanging straight in alternating shots. (00:04:35)
Visible crew/equipment: When Honora brings Pauline a tray of breakfast into her room, Honora gives her the tray then talks to her for a while. You can clearly see the face of a crewmember reflected in a window, and then after, you see the reflection of two hands holding the long pole of the boom mic! (00:37:40)
Continuity mistake: When Lloyd's mother is tied to the chair, the red ribbon changes between shots. When viewed from the front, there are three wraps closely spaced near her shoulders. When seen in the close-up from behind, only one wrap is visible but there is a big space below it where the next wrap should have been.
