Continuity mistake: When Kevin is running away from Harry and Marv he buys strings of pearl necklaces, and pulls them apart on an icy corner. When the bandits slip on them, there are more pearls there than Kevin dropped.
Continuity mistake: When they bring Marvin Nash to be tortured, his hands are cuffed behind his back. They start kicking him and his hands are then seen cuffed in front. Then, they switch back just a few moments later and his hands are back behind his back again.
Visible crew/equipment: As the motorbike falls from the highway, just after it explodes there's a very short wide shot of the site with Danny Glover standing by his car and a couple of guys in hard hats standing around (or running for their life). If you look right behind Danny Glover you can see two people, one in a white hat, one in a red, and one of them is holding a camera - they start moving backwards just before the end of the shot. We then see the bike blowing up, then a close up shot of Danny Glover, from the camera we've just seen. (01:30:25)Jon Sandys
Continuity mistake: During Danny's drunken yelling scene he swoops a table ALMOST clear of its papers, meaning there are still a few papers messily left on the table. However, a few shots later, those papers are mysteriously missing. (01:47:20)
Continuity mistake: When Robert Redford tips the scrabble letters onto the glass table, he makes "SETE" and "CAST" next to it. To the right of "CAST", under his right hand, are the letters RNY, quite widely spaced. All other letters are tightly gathered above. When the angle changes to under the table, suddenly all the letters are spread fairly evenly around the table. (00:39:15)Jon Sandys
Visible crew/equipment: Early in the the film, after the attack in a shot with police tape in view, you can see a camera on a dolly along with the focus puller in the left side of the shot (wide screen version). (00:11:55)
