Continuity mistake: When Dally falls off his chair in the drive-in movie theater, you can hear Ponyboy's laughter above them all. When the shot changes to Cherry, you can see Ponyboy with a serious face on in the background but you can still hear him laughing.
Continuity mistake: When Tony shoots Manny after he finds out that he has been with Gina, she runs to hold his bloody body, in turn getting blood on her robe. Continuity mistake: When McQuade gets buried in his truck, as he's about ready to burst out of the ground, you see the camera getting a shot of the lights on the top of the truck. The lights that are shown are a different shape than they are in the rest of the film.
