Lone Wolf McQuade

Continuity mistake: When driving into Mexico, before he stops at the Border Patrol station, we see that McQuade has the roof vent of the Ramcharger open. In the very next scene when he pulls up to the gas station, the vent is closed.

Continuity mistake: When Kayo is chasing after McQuade in his police car after showing up at his house in the morning to wake him, you see McQuade...before he hits his supercharger, that he puts on his seat belt. He reaches down and puts on a lap only style belt, but you can see in the shots before and after this, that the truck has a three-point style seat belt that goes across the chest...that is still not being used after he "put his seat belt on."

Character mistake: When McQuade goes to visit Senor Falcone at the racetrack, they meet face to face pointing guns at each other. If you look closely, you see McQuade accidentally discharging his revolver (the hammer strikes) as he puts it down by his side.

Continuity mistake: When in scene when Jackson shows up to McQuade's house, we see the Ramcharger parked out beside the house. McQuade goes inside, drops off his shovel and grabs a beer. After he pulls his gun on Jackson and heads back outside, you see Jackson's car where the Ramcharger was in the previous shot.

Continuity mistake: When McQuade gets buried in his truck, as he's about ready to burst out of the ground, you see the camera getting a shot of the lights on the top of the truck. The lights that are shown are a different shape than they are in the rest of the film.

Other mistake: When McQuade is leaving his house in his truck to head to Mexico, he is wearing a light beige button-down. When we see the shot of him in his truck pulling away after Kayo is yelling "You're in no shape to do this alone!", his shirt changes color to light yellow. It's also light yellow for the remainder of the scene at the gas station/restaurant.

Rawley Wilkes: Welcome to my hacienda, Mr. McQuade. How nice of you to pay a social visit.

Trivia: There were no stunt doubles used for the final fight between Chuck Norris and David Carradine. The two actors demanded they did the scene themselves, in spite of strong protests from the producers.

Question: Why didn't Kayo get any credit at the end for his help? Mcquade and Jackson got a rousing public celebration for their work...but Kayo got nothing. I never understood that.

Gavin Jackson

Chosen answer: Part of it could be because more people in the crowd know McQuade or Jackson personally. We know McQuade's daughter and ex-wife are there. However, Kayo is also given the Texas Award of Valor, same as McQuade and Jackson.
