Continuity mistake: McBride and Ryan are driving through town in heavy traffic. When the shot cuts (and their conversation continues uninterrupted), not only does the rear view mirror disappear, but an obvious rear screen projection changes their locale to a country road with trees and no traffic at all. Factual error: Ann enters Julie/Barbara's room and Eton John's "Rocket Man" is playing. Barbara is siting in front of the turntable playing a 33 LP that has the distinctive Atlantic Records Red/White/Green label. Rocket Man was never published on Atlantic records. (00:19:00 - 00:20:00)gempler
Continuity mistake: After Nicky has been separated from her parents, Nicky and her father are walking the streets looking for each other. A horse and cart with lots of children on the cart and a line of children walking behind it goes past Nicky. She sees her father walking on the other side on the road, but when she walks behind the cart to cross the road, the camera angle changes, and the children have changed places in the line.
Continuity mistake: When Starsky and Hutch are driving up to Dobey's cabin, park near the lake, and then drive into town for supplies, the car's license plate is attached to the driver's side of the front bumper as it should be, but when they're in town the plate is now attached to the passenger side of the bumper, and it's not a flipped shot. At the end, when Hutch tells Starsky he wants to leave, the license plate is back where it should be.Super Grover
